I'm starting to think that becoming a god magnifies one's personality.
Also you left out perhaps the biggest nutcase: Amascut. She experienced a traumatic event as a child, and became obsessed with destruction because of it.
Scabarus also deserves mention for being completely anti-social.

All power does that to people. Not just divine power.
Good point. Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. I'm just hoping a mature enough god gets ahold of the SoJ to toss it into a black hole, or somewhere more destructive individuals can't access.

I dislike the menaphite pantheon
I make videos.
Just don't want you thinking I'm some uninformed bigot, I'm an
informed
bigot.
Can't argue with that then. But yeah my point was simply that the term mood swings was a bit too trivial to be used.
As for love and hate those words are bandied about so much in my community they have lost a large part of their sense of meaning, no offence meant there.

Sliske is a Necro.... philiac??
This explains
so
much...
-Confirmed by Jagex that Sliske likes the player;
-Sliske said in ROTM he wanted to add us to his "collection";
-Sliske can bless the player after FOT*, so we can "see him
coming
next time";
-Relomia doesn't remember clearly what happened to her after being brought to the Shadow Realm by Sliske;
-Sliske is a pain in the ***, if you know what I mean.
We know how things can ascent to godhood. Nomad's avatars are created with Soul energy. Saradomin ascended further with a huge around of divination energy (something you can't really get with normal peaceful divination). Many gods ascended with killing other gods (with or without an elder artefact/godslayer)... so far the only peaceful way to become a god (besides being crafted by an elder god) is to hoard Elder Artafacts... but since they are often killed for to obtain, it doesn't seem likely that the most peaceful beings end up becoming gods. In fact, I think you should expect the most violent or warlike beings to become gods.
Expect the manipulative, murderous, mighty, and mischievous monsters that we often see as gods. Those are logical. We need to explain the nice and kind ones. Those are the real exceptions. Marimbo and Guthix became gods by accident and don't like the fight and search for power and/or artefacts. Seren was created, that explains her. Armadyl... well idk, the first ascension cause he kept secret. He seems ashamed. But I doubt he was like Bandos or Zamorak. I suspect a Guthix-like story, maybe with a bit of Regicide-quest drama sprinkled on top of it.
Guthix became a god by accident... I can only understand why he would have chronic deep depression, family dead, relatives dead, species gone, planet destroyed... his adopted races are also not getting along, his favorite would was being destroyed by godwars. This also explains why Seren is a hermit.
Marimbo just escapes all trouble after ascending... totally reasonably too, imho.

Scabarus isn't anti-social, he has a schizoid personality disorder. Anti-social means not obeying, recognizing, or caring about fundamental social rules...like not killing, stealing, etc. They also routinely violate others rights. Anti-social personality disorder fits Sliske far more than Scabarus.
