How long could the world guardian theoretically live for and how has the events regarding their soul effected this?
World Guardianship doesn't grant you eternal life. Primarily, it (mostly) grants immunity to the magic of younger gods. Death cut you a break long before the 6th Age happened (and he does charge you a tax for your recklessness, not that he needs the money).[/quote]

Shield of Arrav rework coming soon.
I don't know of any others in development.

5. How does Jas feel about her stone being blown to pieces?
You assume an Elder God would have discernible emotions like us mere mortals. At best her reaction is indiscernible.

6. Even though the SoJ pillar is now concluded, can we expect to see the young gods in the near future?
Nope. We're getting rid of the young gods. Their day is done. It's over. Pack it up. We're taking our catalyst fragments and going home. Turn the lights off on your way out.

Thanks for doing a Lore Corner guys (though it should be front and the center of attention,) we really appreciate you doing these kinds of things
But to the questions:
1. Are we looking at any quest reworks in the near future?
Never say never.

2. What caused Jas to wake up and reach out to Sliske and enlist him?
So Jas was sort of already awake, ish (it's complicated).
When she finally decided to pay attention to Gielinor again properly, she noticed that it was covered in all these... things. These creatures that neither she, nor her sisters, knowingly created.
She was curious.
Wanting to know more, she found one of these ant things (they're all very much alike to an elder god) and demanded that it gather the leaders of the other insect-things and bring them to her to study.
Given that Sliske was this insect-thing, you can guess how this might have been... misused.
He's right... oh... well he was there a moment ago... maybe death took him? Right... right?

4. Juna says Guthix travelled underneath where Lumbridge is now to continue his slumber, but his actual vault was in Kandarin. Why does she say this?
Guthix moved so that no one would know where he slumbered, save for perhaps Cres.

Absolutely, we're not done with the gods yet.

1. What are the exact lengths of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Ages?
We're looking at that at the moment and trying to derive a definite answer.
Original message details are unavailable.
2. How does crossbreeding work on RuneScape?
No canon answer, but your headcanon sounds like it fits the evidence. It's primarily story focused, so if we needed a race of hybrids suddenly for some reason, then it would be possible.
Original message details are unavailable.
3. Is it possible for you to release the full linguistical material you've said to have about Old Gnomish and Ancient Armadylean languages? I, as well as several other fans, would love to write texts in RuneScape's conlangs.
I'm afraid we don't have any proper conlang stuff. The investment for something like that is huge and we just don't have time.
Original message details are unavailable.
Eitherway, does this mean that the hypothetical "Rimmingas" tribe were one of the 22 tribes of Asgarnia?
Love it, sure. Remind me of this if a good opportunity comes up.

Elder god questions
This would spoil upcoming elder god storyline content.
Original message details are unavailable.
11. What are the defining physical features of lower, elemental, and higher planes, if there are any?
Lower: Flawed, corrupted anima which produces dangerous and vicious lifeforms
Elemental: Consists of a single of limited element, producing skewed anima which doesn't have the right balance
Higher: Polished, almost perfect anima which produces the sort of kind, gentle lifeforms that your Guthix or your Seren takes a shine to - Jas would probably say that the only imperfection in these worlds is that they produced life at all
Original message details are unavailable.
12. Zanik mentions that the area where we gather sacred clay in the Stealing Creations is in a different world. Where is this world? In the lower planes, among the 100 unfinished protoworlds?
Off the top of my head, probably an elemental world, maybe one of Ful's? I doubt we'll explore this concept further though. It clashes with the whole concept of anima a bit too much.
Original message details are unavailable.
13. Why is Iaia so far removed from the rest of the lower planes?
Spoilers!
Original message details are unavailable.
14. Will we ever get to explore more of the Abyss, given that it is supposed to contain the detritus of the planets from previous cycles?
I hope so!
Original message details are unavailable.
15. Are there plans to tie things like ScapeRune, Land of Snow and Spider Realm into the main, more serious lore? There has to be some serious explanation as to what they really are, how they came to be and how do they operate.
To be honest, probably not. Trying to explain silly things sufficiently within the context of the wider game makes the silly things more serious, and the serious world more silly, harming both IMO.
Original message details are unavailable.
16. How exactly do Spirit Realm, Spirit Plane and Shadow Realm work, relate to Gielinor, and with one another? Do all worlds have their own Spirit Realms, Spirit Planes and Shadow Realms?
I'm hoping to explore this more in the future. We don't have a proper model for it at the moment.
Original message details are unavailable.
18. Are there other planets in Gielinor's solar system, similar to how Abbinah and Kethsi supposedly are from the same solar system?
We don't know. Probably not, because it wouldn't really afford any stories we'd need to tell, and we'd probably rather explore established worlds like Abbinah or Infernus first.
Original message details are unavailable.
19. According to how the RuneScape's universe is created, the stars should be concentrated to a single spot in the sky, as that's where the other worlds are supposed to be, yet from Gielinor's point of view, the star sky resembles that of Earth, with starts spread all around the sky, and not just at one point. Does this mean that there are stars across the universe that the Elder Gods did not create?
I think this is probably a lorefail tbh. We're still arguing about the universe's structure. I have a sweet new picture on my pad, and no you can't see it yet.
Original message details are unavailable.
20. The Spirit in the Chaos Temple refers to an unknown region simply known as the Western Lands that "fell as truly as he died". Are there any plans and lore for these "Western Lands", or has it been largely forgotten?
It's a throwaway line I think.
Original message details are unavailable.
21. Given that the overworld's northernmost parts are frozen and frigid, and the southernmost parts are desert and jungle, are there also temperate Southern Lands and a frigid South Pole at the southern hemisphere of Gielinor?
Sounds reasonable, although I'm not sure that the climate of Gielinor works the same as that of Earth.

22. Since a more realistically scaled-up version of the game world appears to be out of question, is it possible for you to make and release a "canonical" world map, similar to the maps in Betrayal at Falador and Return to Canifis, in order to give a better idea of the world of Gielinor?
Hopefully at some point. No concrete plan right now.
Original message details are unavailable.
23. TokHaar-Hok says that Gielinor had a different name prior to the First Age. Will we ever learn this name?
The elder god storyline seems like the place to learn this. What do you think of "Ful's House!"
Original message details are unavailable.
24. According to Mobilizing Armies, TzHaar have founded colonies on the Southern Islands, and some dialogue hinted at the presence of a TzHaar settlement beneath the North, connected to the Lava Flow Mines in some fashion. However, these contradict the claims that the TzHaar never left their volcano home, because they needed to be present near the Elder Kiln to be able to reproduce. So, why are TzHaar present in these locations?
Lorefail.
Original message details are unavailable.
26. All Elder Artefacts were said to be double-edged swords. We know the 'side effects' of the Catalyst and the Crown. What are the side effects of the Kiln, the Siphon, the Blade, the Measure, the Horn, the Mirror, the Needle, the Codex, the Template and the Hammer? And why are they double-edged?
That would be a massive spoiler pileup! They're double edged because they're dangerous, and because they affect the wielder as much as the world.
Original message details are unavailable.
28. Are all of the Elder Artifacts either on Gielinor or on worlds linked to Gielinor via the World Gate?
Probably not.
Original message details are unavailable.
31. Given that the Stone of Jas has now been destroyed, what will this mean for Movario's and Wizard Elriss' plotlines to find the Stone of Jas, as well as their relationship with one another?

Is there any chance of more diversity in the metaphysical theories, e.g. an Armadylean planar theory, a Saradominist theory of magic, a Fremennik anima theory, etc? I've proposed this recently
here
and
here
. This might allow for some more creativity and contradiction on these topics.
If I were to ask a really self-serving question, I'd ask, What do you think of
this thread
, in which I've drawn together 10 years of lorehounding? - it is my response to a conversation begun with Mod Raven in Dec 2006.
I don't think we're going to (publically) go into quite the detail that you have on your thread (I have read it, but don't have the time for a really detailed response I'm afraid).
I'm not wholly keen on giving detailed explanations to how more esoteric things work as I think it hinders, rather than enhances story. I am a fan of leaving some questions unanswered and with just enough mystery to get people talking.
If we explained everything, we wouldn't see threads like yours and that would make me sad.
On a side note, you have made some assumptions about characters in your thread that are really really not true.

The creation of the Land of Snow (and Sunlight, Holly and Hawthorn) are referenced in one of the new memories of Guthix...though I don't think many have picked up on it.

Indeed, the name Gielinor was established by its first settlers, probably Guthix himself (though it was such a long time ago it's difficult to be sure). The Elder Gods would have their own name for the planet, to be used among themselves.

There's nothing physically stopping the TzHaar from settling elsewhere (though they'd find the climate uncomfortably chilly), as indeed you've proven they have. Such settlements are unsuitable for hatching their eggs, however, so it would be impossible for them to cut ties completely with the Karamja volcano. As such, the overwhelming majority of TzHaar can be found there.

25. Were the various volcanic creatures like Har-Aken and TzTok-Jad created by Ful via the Elder Kiln?
A little from column A and from column B. Some "blueprints" in the Kiln were imprinted directly by Ful (notably but not exclusively the primary terraforming castes), others were inherited from creatures that fell into the sacred lava over the years, and some were even reverse-engineered from the nature of Ful herself (such as the TzHaar managing to "fall back" on reproducing through eggs). They've intermixed for so long it's difficult to pin down the origins.
