1. What are the exact lengths of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Ages? In-game evidence suggest that the ages are longer than the approximations of 4,000, 2,000, and 4,000 years that the ages are given as their lengths. For instance, the time from the first Ritual of Rejuvenation to the end of the Third Age, if we assume the rituals took place every 500 years, is 6,831 years, which is longer than the approximated lengths of the Second and Third Ages combined, which would imply that the Mahjarrat came to Gielinor in the First Age, which of course did not happen. Likewise, Virtus' journal is dated at year 1987 at Zarosian Calendar, implying that the Zarosian Empire existed for as long as the Second Age is hypothised to have existed, which would imply that if that time would be accurate, most of the other gods would've had to find Gielinor in the matter of 13 years and establish their own territories there, which is very improbable. So, what are the true lengths of the First, Second and Third Ages?
2. How does crossbreeding work on RuneScape? We know that various races can crossbreed with one another, and that there are a few half-breeds in the lore (Safalaan, Moia, Gar'rth), but they are often very significant persons and as a result it seems that inter-racial relationships occur very rarely. So, how does it work?
My headcanon is that two races are unable to interbreed, but with the extensive use of magic, hybrids of two races can be created, but they are almost non-existent and not present too often in Gielinor, either because the magic required to create a hybrid is extremely difficult to pull off, and/or because the half-breeds are sterile. It also seems that all named half-breeds have at least one human parent, which suggests that half-human halfbreeds seems to be the norm in Gielinor.
