Oh yeah, nearly forgot about your thing about the temples. You suggested that Saradomin tore down their settlements and put up those temples himself. Actually, looking at the Sara temple in TWW yields the following text:

"This looks to be the remains of a ruined temple. Some of Guthix's race must have begun to worship the gods who came to this world, creating shrines and temples before becoming caught up in the war that destroyed them."

And Guthix says a bit later:

"Looking over Gielinor, it was like looking at my homeland: the land ravaged; the mortals worshiping a multitude of gods, including myself."

If some Naragi had followed Saradomin, surely he would have taken them with him when he left the planet...and with that, there would still be some Naragi today. So either none of them joined Saradomin or he's a bigger jerk than I thought and didn't take any with him.

You are quite correct, then, I fear. It seems Saradomin ran away to save his own skin from Tuska, at the expense of his naragi followers.

Either that or he took some but they weren't enough for a sustainable population, and gradually died out on Teragard/New Domina. But that's reaching.
The Asgarnian ale must flow.

I personally don't think he'd abandon his own followers, hence why I add the bit about him desperately using them as soldiers towards the end when his main forces were demolished. (Comparable to the One Piercing Note side story where his recruiters went to farming villages for soldiers during the war.)

That still leaves him abandoning the non-Saradominist refugees like Guthix to their fate, but he's always valued his own followers over others. It feels more in character while explaining why none of them came with him.
