I don't know how much I trust the responses from that chat. One of the questions brought up was "If Centaur are almost extinct, how is Saradomin summoning so many centaur champions onto the field?"

The J-Mod response is that all the champions are Bree... so when two champions are on the field (and for a while more thanks to that glitch) it was all Bree, a centaur archer who for whatever reason decided to come to an important battle with a spear, and be in two (maybe three unless he's running back to GWD when we're not looking) places at once.

I know this is a minor oversight, but it makes me question what the JMods doing the chat were thinking.

Another thing to note though, is as stressed time and time again Saradomin cares ONLY for HIS followers and believers. Making them "safe" seems to involve a "convert or die" mentality to everyone else. (I'm certain that no matter who started, Saradomin approves of the "Inquistion(s) of Saradomin" the most recent of which saw unarmed civilians pulled from their homes and getting their throats slit.

About the Saradominist champion on the Battle of Lumbridge battlefield, obviously, lore-wise, there's only one champion and he never dies. Gameplay wise there's two unnamed Saradominist champions that have died thousands of times.

As for Saradomin having a ''convert or die'' attitude, the one and ONLY example we have of this, was when he razed the Naragi city, and not only did he regret his actions quickly afterwards, but he tried to make amends, thousands of years later, during the quest ''Death of Chivalry'' he specifically tells the player that he does not force anyone to bend their knee to him AND he once again expresses regret for his actionc on the Naragi home plane if asked about it.

So no, I'm absolutely certain he doesn't have a ''convert or die'' attitude, there's no reason for him to.

Padomenes, if you have at least a gold Saradominist token:

Player: Why do you follow Saradomin?

Padomenes: Simply answered: Saradomin is the one true god. Saradomin brings us truth, light, justice and life. He is our protector and our guide. With our lord, we can all live in harmony, free from the chaos of false gods. Of course, some follow these so-called gods; pretenders, all. These misguided people must be shown the truth of Saradomin's glory. This is my mission. But those who refuse to see the truth and stand in our way as Zamorak does now. They leave us no choice: they must be destroyed!

Also, note during the invasion of the Dark Prince, King Roald announces he is reinstating the Inquisition of Saradomin, suggesting it's happened before. What occurs in the Inquisition of Saradomin?

(excerpt from Legacy of Blood)

A woman ran out onto the road, two men in yellow tunics chasing. She was brought to the ground a hundred yards from where they waited and restrained by both men... One of the men pulled the woman's head back by her hair and readied his knife. Then he cut her throat.

When the men are asked why:

"W-we have orders your lordships. Orders from His Grace Raispher and the Inquisition. We are to do a house-to-house search of the area. Any who we find with religious contraband, and those who resist us we.. we have been instructed to kill."
"He appears in the Form of a Man with many Countenances; and he hath a Book in his right hand. His Office is to teach all Arts and Sciences unto any; and to declare the Secret Counsel of any one."

Saradomin may have his followers' best interest at heart, but the results seem rather disappointing. Centaurs are a good example...

Saradomin had nothing to do with the death of the Centaurs. They decided to fight for him in the God wars, they got wiped out. Oh well. Now Saradomin is attempting to do a benevolent act by reviving them.

[b]Any who we find with religious contraband, and those who resist[/quote] That's just it, I'm fairly certain Aeonisig ordered the reinstatement of the Inquisition, and on top of it, this was the wish of Saradomin's followers, neck deep in utter paranoia and desperation. Don't get me wrong, I greatly dislike Raispher because of his actions in the book, and as for Roald I think he basically just stamped the request (it'd tie into the belief he is being steamrolled by Aeonisig, and considering the entire affair involved him getting murdered, his fiance murdered, he wasn't in a stable mental state) It's just my opinion though. Mainly comes from the fact that Zamorak would likely be rather annoyed by some of his followers, just as Saradomin would be angry at his own for their actions.

saradomin killed guthix' daughter

WHAT IS THIS!?

Now I'm angry. What have these propagandists been feeding you?

Memory 7:

Original message details are unavailable.
a new creature set upon Tuska. Tall and muscled, he was a great warrior, wielding a sword that crackled and sparked. Tuska's warband of squat, purple creatures screamed 'Death to Skargaroth!' as if they had met the hulking warrior before. They piled onto him, biting and stabbing. Blood poured from one of Tuska's eyes, and she careened wildly, wounded in the melee. Still, Tuska span around and gored Skargaroth's side with her tusks. Skargaroth bellowed and dropped his sword, madly tumbling. I moved out of the way, and
Skargaroth crashed into my homestead
...

Memory 8:

.I felt nothing. I was numb, and Aagi's name was a lump in my throat. The storm cellar was crushed. I could sense an emptiness in the universe as Aagi - my only daughter - died under the unconscious form of
Skargaroth

Skargoth killed Guthix's daughter!

I suppose it depends what you focus on.

'Comment From Godslayer
Is Saradomin evil or just short tempered?

Mod Osborne:
Definitely short tempered! He's impulsive
, and will do what he can to keep his people safe'

'Comment From Ballor
Hello jmods, After the events of The World Wakes and now Death of Chivalry, is Saradomin every going to forgive the World Guardian, or learn from his actions?

Mod Giara:
Saradomins primary concern is that of the people and those who he protects. I don't think that Saradomin is angry at the World Guardian but
Saradomin certainly wants to do things his way'

'Comment From Mewzard
Would it be fair to say that at least part of the reason why Saradomin wants the wand is to make up for his past failings, and give the Centaurs a second chance? Could it be possible to restore some of the fallen Naragi to amend such things?

Mod Osborne:
You are exactly right. Saradomin's motivations here are
almost
entirely benevolent - he wants to make up for errors with the centaurs. But
he was impulsive and emotional, and that's often been his failing. The naragi could be restored, but I wonder if they would be his first target.'

'Comment From Ziggy Coins
I didn't trust Saradomin throughout the quest, I warned him that no good can come of him using the wand, then we he took it off me by force and then caused Owens corruption, that confirmed to me that no-one deserves that power...

Mod Osborne:
Then you were proved right
! Saradomin is still redeemable - please don't give up on him yet, '

It does seem though that the good outnumbers the bad in the jmod quotes, and they're probably pushing for a redemption of Saradomin as the questline progresses. Hopefully Zamorak eventually gets a similar treatment. I want him to be just as deep of a character, that we can bicker about his morals this much. :P
