Just because Saradomin has made sinister actions doesn't make him a sinister God. In fact, he is willing to make tough decisions to uphold order.
However, his temper begets much of his wisdom.
You shouldn't try arguing with the trolls. They've got me quite close to believing that they deliberately avoid this thread in order to continue hating. Hating is easy, and because it's so easy, it's what they do best.
They've never been open to reason since Guthix's death when everyone saw Guthix's memories and went...
" *Gasp* Saradomin destroyed a city full of innocents! Oh, wait, what's this... Saradomin tried to make amends and kill Tuska to protect the Naragi? Nevermind that. Saradomin destroyed a city full of innocents! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeevillll! "
Still, the only reason for Saradomin to justify destroying Askroth if the Naragi tried to attack him, but still THAT doesn't justify him demolishing Askroth. He was probably a Tier 4-5. And they were mere Naragi farmers, diviners etc.
They named the airut after their legendary warrior Airut. Historically speaking any society that makes their legendary figures based on their prowess in battle are probably heavily war oriented.
The fact that they have legends of a warrior doesn't make them a war-oriented race. The few naragi individuals who we have read about don't seem to have be very talented warriors. Narix and his 'warriors' couldn't defend themselves against a single airut harbinger. Two of them were killed while the rest fled. If they were generally a war-oriented race, you would think they would have a little more skill in combat.

The strength of the pack is the wolf and the strength of the wolf is the pack.
