I still don't trust the jerk... Flinged me away when I tried to destroy the wand. Too much power for one being, and he ignored me. I'm still gonna banish you somehow saradomin -.-

Jerk? Wouldn't that be a form of ad hominiem against Saradomin?

Flinged you away? Last time I checked fling meant picking sometihng up and tossing it a long distant. This is poisioning the well. Saradomin did not do this.

If you do not give Saradomin the wand, he pushes the player aside with magic and takes the wand himself. Some players have accused Saradomin of having "not changed" and still being prone to aggressive impulses due to this occurrence.

However, I find Saradomin's actions completely reasonable given the circumstances. Saradomin warns the player that time is of the essence when resurrecting Owen, and the longer he is left dead the more difficult it becomes.

His actions are understandable given that he wants to SAVE Owen, and all those people who would not give him the wand were merely wasting precious time. What do you expect Saradomin to do? He did not kill you - he merely temporarily incapacitated you so he could revive Owen.

While Saradomin doesn't seem destructive, his impulsiveness is just as dangerous. I thought we were coming to something of an understanding but I try to break the wand...

(does he realize how easily that power could be abused? I just wrenched it out of the hands of a witch bent on world destruction. Not to mention I had little confidence Saradomin would successfully resurrect Owen, and didn't want to put him through that zombification again)

... and he immediately turns on me. "You have defied me for the last time, World Guardian! pew pew pew!"

I don't put my trust in someone who is one disobedient action away from obliterating you on the spot.

My post above still stands.

As does mine. Saradomin tried to do the right thing for his followers (what you emphasized) and, through violence and impulsive decision-making, made things worse (what I focus on).

He didn't kill me because I ducked.

I don't know how much I trust the responses from that chat. One of the questions brought up was "If Centaur are almost extinct, how is Saradomin summoning so many centaur champions onto the field?"

The J-Mod response is that all the champions are Bree... so when two champions are on the field (and for a while more thanks to that glitch) it was all Bree, a centaur archer who for whatever reason decided to come to an important battle with a spear, and be in two (maybe three unless he's running back to GWD when we're not looking) places at once.

I know this is a minor oversight, but it makes me question what the JMods doing the chat were thinking.

Another thing to note though, is as stressed time and time again Saradomin cares ONLY for HIS followers and believers. Making them "safe" seems to involve a "convert or die" mentality to everyone else. (I'm certain that no matter who started, Saradomin approves of the "Inquistion(s) of Saradomin" the most recent of which saw unarmed civilians pulled from their homes and getting their throats slit.
"He appears in the Form of a Man with many Countenances; and he hath a Book in his right hand. His Office is to teach all Arts and Sciences unto any; and to declare the Secret Counsel of any one."

It really doesn't matter what quotes you pull.

I don't believe that he is truly sorry "Enough" for the Naragi incident, Fair enough to say it with some truth, but sorry doesn't cut it when you wipe out a city and a large populace of a race for the most pathetic reason now does it?

Protecting ones people is a given for almost all the gods, but when you have a very thin line and warped view on what you consider "Evil" you won't be doing the best of jobs.

He didn't make anything worse. Sir Owen was grateful for being returned to life. The only one who left that room bitter was you, because of your predisposed hatred for Saradomin before even entering that room, everyone else left happy.
