Brimhaven
is a pirate settlement west of Musa Point on the northern part of Karamja. It contains several shops, inns, residences, a dock, ScarFace Pete's mansion - connected to Mr Olbors's garden - and an underground agility arena. There is also a large dungeon beneath the town where Dragonkin experimented with metal dragons, as well as the former office of Sandy, owner of Sandy Sand Co. The infamous Phoenix and Black Arm Gangs from Varrock operate here too. The former control The Shrimp and Parrot Inn.

*
Burgh de Rott
is a small dilapidated village west of Meiyerditch where The Burgh, a village in Hallowvale, had stood. It is inhabited by poor and sick refugees who have managed to escape the ghetto of the Sanguinesti, as Burgh de Rott was undiscovered by the vampyres until 5.169, when an adventurer helped patch up the town a bit and the smoke of the repaired furnace attracted the attention of Vanstrom Klause. Elisabeta is a leader of the village, which was in a terrible state until the adventurer's actions. The Myreque made the basement of the village's old inn their new base as the old one under the Hollows had been discovered, and have been there since. When Vanstrom found the village, the sent Gadderanks and two Vampyre J(uv)inates there to tithe the people, but they were defeated by the adventurer and Myreque lieutenant Veliaf Hurtz, saving the people. Nevertheless, the vyrewatch later attacked, brutally murdering one ill citizen, Marius, in his bed. Later, Vanescula Drakan sneaked into the village and left a message for the Myreque there.

Burthorpe
is a principality in the north-west part of Asgarnia, north of Taverley. It was placed under the rule of Asgarnia's Crown Prince Anlaf by King Vallance so that the heir to the throne could acquire some experience in ruling, with Lord Amthyst as his advisor. However, Burthorpe suffered from troll attacks and the Burthorpe Imperial Guard were formed to combat the invaders. When the old king fell ill in 162 and 163, Sir Amik Varze, leader of the White Knights, took over the ruling of Asgarnia and threatened to take over Burthorpe unless the town would prove itself able to cope with the troll attacks on its own. They continue funding the town so that it is able to ward off the trolls, which is why it is of the utmost importance to the Imperial Guard that they defeat the trolls once and for all. The Burthorpe - Troll Country war lasts to this day as neither side is able to definitively defeat the other, although the Imperial Guard took a passage in 169 that allowed them to keep the invaders from Death Plateau under control. During the War of 164, Commander Daquarius of the Kinshra led an armed contingent of Kinshra to Burthorpe with orders from Lord Sulla, but the entire operation proceeded without any violence, save one brutal execution. Recently, the prince opened up the games room in his castle to public. Also in 169, the war with the trolls got worse as more began to invade and even reached as far south as Taverley. The Heroes' Guild and Warriors' Guild, founded a few decades ago by a party of adventurers and heroes, are also in Burthorpe.

Camdozaal
was the great hall of the Imcando dwarves, built inside Asgarnia's treacherous Ice Mountain. During the Runecrafting Crusades, the raging Fremennik invaded it seeing that the Imcando were magically superheating their ores. The hall fell and the dwarves that couldn't make it out alive were buried in the ensuing cave-in. Only one, the blind Ramarno, remained and is tending to the Sacred Forge, which survived the attack.

¤
Canifis
is a werewolf village in north-western Morytania, established in 5.23 when Lord Drakan began to take control of northern Morytania. The werewolves are forced to pay tithes as any subject of Morytania would, but the vampyres agree to accept captured humans instead. Canifis is located where the Zarosian fortress Kharyrll had once stood. The ruler of Canifis is the vampyre noble Lord Malak, who is feared and hated by the werewolves. He is also the overseer of the young werewolves' bloodings. The village contains a taxidermist and the Hair of the Dog Inn. While Malak holds the highest authority, there are village elders as well. One of these is the innkeeper Roavar. The werewolves store all the items found on travellers (money, jewellery, weaponry, runestones, books, etc.) in the large House of Artefacts.

Darkmeyer
is the capital of Morytania and makes up the northern half the Sanguinesti Region. The Great Vyre Wall goes all around the city, placed high above the swamps of Mort Myre and the Haunted Woods. Just west of Darkmeyer lies the massive complex that is Castle Drakan. The city is divided into three sectors; the lower one in the south-east where the j(uv)inates and werewolf settlers live, the middle district in the north where the "average" class v(y)rewatch live and finally the upper tier in the south-west where the vampyre nobility, such as Vanstrom Klause, have their mansions. This is also where the arboretum containing the Blisterwood Tree is located. Beneath Darkmeyer and Meiyerditch is a city-sized refinery where the vampyres work with daeyalt. It is assumed that Darkmeyer was originally part of Hallowvale's capital, before Drakan's invasion. If not in the castle or flying above the Sanguinesti, Vanescula and (formerly) Ranis Drakan may often be found in Darkmeyer.

Dis
is said to be the greatest city of Infernus. It is ruled in Zamorak's name by Gree'gar Tsutsaroth.

¤
Dorgesh-Kaan
, the Dorgeshuun republic, is a very large underground city deep beneath Misthalin. It was founded after the Dorgeshuun defied Bandos during the God Wars under General Bloodfist's leadership, whom Bandos subsequently smote. Lieutenant Strongaxe led the Dorgeshuun as they excavated tunnels underground until they found a very large cave where they would soon build their city. After the Dorgeshuun Civil War came to a sudden end when General Bonehelm's army was crushed in a cave-in, an elected council came to rule the city, which had rapidly grown. Even today, it is one of the finest cities that exist, with elaborate houses, fountains and the busy marketplace. In 5.169, H.A.M. attempted to invoke a war between Dorgesh-Kaan and Lumbridge but this failed.

A peace treaty between the two cities was established instead. They then attempted to have the River Lum flood the city, a plot which was thwarted as well. Humans were then allowed to visit the city and a lively trade of surface wares began as the curious goblins were eager to buy human products and resources. Afterwards, the goblins began a project with the dwarves of Keldagrim, building a train link between the two underground cities. H.A.M. once again intervened and tried to start a war, but failed. Later, the avatar of Bandos appeared in the city and left his Ultimatum there. The council panicked, but Zanik and an adventurer took up arms against him and defeated him. After Bandos' death, a small army of Bandosians marched on Dorgesh-Kaan, intent on destroying it, but a Kyzaj Tournament was held instead, which the Dorgeshuun (indirectly) won, saving the city. The city's energy comes from a power station in the dungeon south of it.

¤
Draynor Village
is a gloomy village in Misthalin near the border with Asgarnia. It is named after Count Victor Draynor Drakan, who took up residence in the large mansion north of the village, Draynor Manor, after the First Battle of the Salve and would terrorise the villagers until being slain by a budding adventurer in 5.169. It has a busy marketplace, commissioned by the RuneScape Council. GAG also have a pigsty in the village. The Skulls have their headquarters in the old gaol east of Draynor. Its sewers, infested with undead and the count's old vampyre servant Ruantun, run underneath the village. In 169, the bank was robbed by the legendary adventurer Dionysius, who now lives in Draynor, and several bank employees and accountholders were killed by him. The bank guards have been surveying him since. Despite the eerie atmosphere, the Breadbasket of Misthalin runs through Draynor as well, with several farms east of the village.

Eastbridge
was a strategically located settlement located on a small island. It was destroyed during the God Wars.

¤
Edgeville
is a town on the edge of the Wilderness, between the Asgarnian monastery of Saradomin and the River Lum. It was formerly known simply as Ghost Town and was a town in a rather bad state built upon the ruins of the Zarosian fortress Paddewwa but inhabited nonetheless. In 163 of the Fifth Age, a massive slaughter took place in Ghost Town, known today as the Edgeville Incident. Lord Shadwell of the Kinshra led a contigent of men through the village for unknown reasons when one of his associates, the mage Solus Dellagar, turned on him and began to massacre people at random, killing no less than 800 civilians. White and Temple Knights soon arrived to deal with him, but they were unable to do so before they, as well as the Kinshra, lost another 800 men to Dellagar, who had killed Shadwell as well. Six years later, King Roald III of Misthalin commissioned the renovation of the town and it was renamed Edgeville. It became a thriving human settlement like any other, but that same year three Dragonkin - Strisath, Sakirth and Sithaph - attacked it, charring buildings and destroying the guards' headquarters. This damage still hasn't been repaired.

¤
Falador
, the white city, is the capital of Asgarnia and the base of the White Knights and Temple Knights. In the middle is the White Knights' Castle, containing training grounds, a hospital, dungeons and much more, surrounded by a moat and only accessible by bridge. There are many inns in the city but none as famous as the Rising Sun. The Party Room is located in the north-eastern part of the city. It is also known for its large and well-tended park, beneath which the lair of the mutated Giant Mole lies, although she does not cause any trouble on the surface.

The Falador City Guard patrol throughout the city, keeping order. Like any great city, it has a poor district known as The Dens, which contains mostly small and run-down houses. The city has huge sewers which run underneath. The city is fairly young, having been a mere village at the start of the Fifth Age but it expanded rapidly as Asgarnia was founded by King Raddallin, who united the tribes living in the area with the White Knights and the Kinshra. In 5.70, anti-Zamorakian pressure led to the banishment of the Kinshra from the city, although they still held some political power in Asgarnia. In 98, the Void Knights were also sent away to Taverley, with the king not favouring their worshipping of Guthix rather than Saradomin. Falador was the stage of the final battle of the War of 164: the gory Siege of Falador, wherein Lord Sulla and his army attempted to conquer the city. Indeed, they destroyed parts of the northern wall and a small amount Kinshra entered the city but they were only able to engage in a few raids before being called back to the battlefield. The damage was repaired quickly after the war, however. By the summer of 165, the dwarves had established the Mining Guild in the city and built a very large network of mines beneath it as a reward for their aid in battle. In 169, the Kinshra attempted to take over the city by making its inhabitants ill using void leech goo, but this plot was thwarted. Bizarre Boron Fusswell, scryer extraordinaire. Goblin Village
is a village where the Thorobshuun and Garagorshuun goblins live, led by generals Wartface and Bentnoze. It is located north of Falador, by the wall of Taverley. Goblins fought for the Kinshra during the Siege of Falador, but their heavy losses caused those who hadn't been slain to retreat to the village. In 169, H.A.M. assaulted the village during a public speech, killing a few goblins, although the main mission was to capture Zanik.

¤ The primitive
Gu'tanoth
is the city of male ogres located on the northern fringe of the Feldip Hills. It was presumably established some time after the ogres' permanent conquest of the area at the end of the God Wars and subsequent enslavement of the skavids. Goblins used to live in the area as well, but they all fled north as a result of the civil war with the ogres in the early Fourth Age. The "city" is very primitive, consisting of not much more than rock formations in lava, fenced off by crude gates. The ogres have a market and an enclave for the shamans in Gu'tanoth. Female ogresses are not allowed in the city and instead live in Oo'glog in the southern part of the Feldip Hills, although young male ogres also live there. The ogres are at war with Yanille, but the recent reinforcement of their watchtower has put the humans at an advantage.

¤
Gunnarsgrunn
, more commonly known as the Barbarian Village, is a village where the Fremennik mountain tribe led by Chieftain Gunnar settled when the Runecrafting Crusades came to an end in 5.62. It is made entirely of wood and built on the western bank of the River Lum. The Stronghold of Security is beneath the village. It has a very large longhall, where strangers are welcome to eat and drink without limits, although Chieftain Gunthor, Gunnar's grandson, is not too fond of the Fremennik's famous hospitality towards "outerlanders".

In 5.169, Gunthor finally conceded, accepting that the village was no longer a temporary camp of war and named it Gunnarsgrunn, meaning "Gunnar's Ground", in honour of his ancestor.

¤ The unnamed
capital of Hallowvale
was the capital of the Hallowed Land. Icyene and humans lived there in harmony under the rule of Queen Efaritay and her husband Ascertes. In the Third Age, Lord Drakan and his vamp(yr)ic forces invaded Hallowvale and during the siege of the capital Efaritay surrendered when Ascertes was taken hostage. The city was turned into the Sanguinesti Region as Drakan corrupted and warped his new land, Morytania, which became shrouded in permanent darkness. The forests and marshes and their inhabitans were corrupted and mutated and became infested with dangerous creatures, ravenous vampyres and undead. People, such as Sialathin and Lantania, attempted to escape the conquered city, but most attempts failed and people were literally farmed like cattle, paying blood tithes in exchange for being kept alive.

Hemenster
is a small fishing village built on the shore of a lake north of East Ardougne. It's usually very quiet but famous for its fishing contest. The guild of archery is located just east of it.

¤
Keldagrim
is the capital of the dwarven realm, located in a cave beneath Trollweiss Mountain, eroded by molten snow in the form of the River Kelda. It was built during the God Wars when dwarves fled underground (although the Imcando Dwarves joined Saradomin). They were led by a Council of Elder Magi until Zamorak cursed them and the dwarves lost their magic as a side effect of the cure, at which point King Gozdaron signalled the start of the Age of Kings. It was not until King Alvis' death in 4.1669 that the Mining Consortium he had founded took over, beginning the Golden Age of the Dwarves, the Age of Prosperity.

The city's power comes mostly from the Lava-flow Mine east of the city, in which streams of lava from Trollweiss' inner magma chamber heat boilers to produce steam, which is then channelled somewhere to produce energy. Before the Age of Kings, a demonic avatar, the Arzinian Being of Bordanzan attacked the mines south of Keldagrim, but it was banished to a pocket dimension, albeit at the cost of the lives of some miners. In the late Fifth Age, the Red Axe began working towards conquering the city, abducting dwarves to form a chaos army, attacking the city with said chaos army and attempting to destroy the Lava-flow Mine, amongst other things, but they were stopped in the early Sixth Age, although they had done much damage. The city was also at war with the mountain trolls of Barendir. The conflict culminated in the gory Battle of Barendir in the early 160s of the Fifth Age, but a peace treaty with the troll wasn't established until 169 by King Veldaban and Pretty Flower, as the trolls and dwarves now had a common enemy: the Red Axe. The city is divided into two sections, separated by the River Kelda: East Keldagrim is very poor and its residents aren't really cared for by the dwarves higher-up. The Blast Furnace, the Laughing Miner Inn and the mining cart network are located in the east, however, as is the entrance to the Lava-flow Mine. West Keldagrim is rich, on the other hand, and the wealthy citizens live here. It contains the city library, the headquarters of the Dwarven Black Guard, the Records Chamber, the luxurious King's Axe Inn and many shops. The palace is built over the Kelda, with one half in the west and one in the east. On the first floor are the Trade Octagon and the offices of the eight companies of the Mining Consortium, while the ground floors contain marketplaces and shops.
