Can I have a reference for where its mentioned that Runes "melted and evaporate"?
Not sure how I got it in my head that Runes are sort of perfectly converted into a liquid/plasma of sorts with no by-products like Runic Dust, with said energy then being converted into usable elements/magic.
You friend put the Varrock Library to shame.
Forgive me if I've missed this, but have you included the Fremennik dispute with the lunar clan and the invasion of the mainland after the discovery of runecrafting? I've looked and cannot find it.

I believe there's quite a bit about that in Hero's Welcome, though that's almost certainly not the first time it came up.

Also, sorry, guys, this thread is horribly obsolete in that it doesn't cover anything revealed since approximately two and a half years ago. I might get round to updating it eventually, but I have several other endeavours like that. >.>
