2.3.4) Battles in Morytania and the Eastern Sea
¤ {H}aving had enough of the Customs and Excise Office's campaign against piracy due to Rabid Jack's actions, the pirates of Mos Le'Harmless sailed their fleet to the Cursed Archipelago itself in order to get rid of him once and for all. They would prove victorious in the ensuing
Battle of the Cursed Archipelago
, as Jack's ships fell one by one. Eventually, a cannonball fired from Brass Hand Harry's ship by Young Ralph hit Jack's flagship
This Albatross
, killing his boatswain, Giles, and grievously injuring the captain himself. The captains of the Pirate Council boarded and forced him to surrender, to which he took his treasure chest and jumped overboard, ending the battle.
¤ In the late Fifth Age, the pirate captain 'Rabid' Jack laid siege on the pirate port Mos Le'Harmless, wishing to conquer the island, and by extent the Eastern Sea, for himself. The pirates resisted the attack, however, and managed to drive off Jack's fleet, not least due to Gentleman Mallard's leadership which lead them successfully through the
Battle of Mos Le'Harmless
.
¤ The
Fall of Hallowvale
was Lord Lowerniel Vergidiyad Drakan's invasion of Hallowvale, the Hallowed Land: an Icyenic and human kingdom founded approximately 820 years prior, named after its Queen, Efaritay Hallow. Details of the initial struggle for the kingdom are unavailable, but it appears Drakan systematically invaded the country and eventually reached the capital in the south-east. The vampyre overlord succeeded in capturing Queen Efaritay's beloved husband Ascertes. In order to save him, she surrendered and attended to him, to which Drakan took over Hallowvale's greatest city, splitting it in two parts. The fates of Efaritay and Ascertes remain uncertain, but he it is rumoured that he did order one of his closest agents, Vanstrom Klause, to find and kill Efaritay's son Safalaan.
