Anyone else thinking possible werewolf involvement to some degree since Rowl*y included werewolves when mentioning he didn't want to spoil anything?

I'm hoping that the missing people from Burgh de Rott are the result of the werewolves having to turn to different areas to find victims for the tithes.

I doubt werewolves would make it that far south. On the other hand, it's entirely possible.

Depends on how desperate they are. After people started going missing in Silvarea, others would naturally begin to avoid the area. Perhaps the werewolves began to venture south in search of new victims for the tithe.

Thing is, the vampyres already have a tithing station in Burgh de Rott (well, had; Gadderanks sort of died), so werewolves could hardly use those people as substitutes, whereas obviously the people in Silvarea had never been marked for tithing in the first place. But yes, if people have decided to avoid King's Road, the werewolves would have to do something else. Paterdomus doesn't have many humans, Mort'ton is useless, Lyra's family have an agreement with the vampyres (and it's two people anyway), which leaves Burgh de Rott.

Which means the werewolves would have discovered it...or the vampyres informed them, or Malak inadvertently mentioned it. Oh dear.

I must admit, these abductions don't seem to have been orchestrated by vampyres. Marius and Gabriela were taken violently and aggressively. This reeks of stealth and subterruge, and the victims appear to have been left alive, at least for the time being. So what would the vampyres need? Tithe victims? Why not set up another station in the village. Slaves for the Daeyalt mines or refinery?

If you set up a station, they'd run, and maybe they don't have the resources (or want to risk possible bloodshed) in a culling.

If you pick them off one at a time, it can go unnoticed- try and spread rumors of them leaving to Misthalin.

Anyway-

Confirmed blood and gore for the next Myreque quest. Yeah!

Mod Srowl*y said he'd want us to feel 'broken' at the end. I'm hoping Meiyerditch burns... maybe I should bring some marshmallows...

Forget burning Meiyerditch....that should wait until the finale.

What we really need is a fight with Drakan that rivals the Death/Dracula dual fight from Castlevania in the "ogod we're so screwed D:" department. It seems only fitting that we take on a guy of his reputation and just get utterly curbstomped beyond recognition :D

I'm kinda hoping our first encounter with Drakan mirrors our first battle against Vanstrom and we end up needing to be rescued at the end. It would just seem odd to me that we'd be able to take him out the first time we fight him.

Do you think during the quest a revolution is probably gonna happen in which the citizens of Meiyerditch will rise up and rebel in a French Revolution or "Les Myrequables" version of the June rebellion style?

Would also be cool if they made a scene where the citizens protesting/rioting sang a parody of the "Do you hear the people sing?" Song. "Do you hear the people sing, sing the song of angry men, it is a music of a people who will NOT be slaves again! When the beating of your heart echoes the beating of the drums. There is a life about to start when tomorrow comes!"

Could it also mean some sort of massacre would occur in which some of the characters closest to us would die in? As someone suggested on a thread I made?

I would quite appreciate an attempt to make us feel uncomfortable, but 'broken'? It's a game after all, which we play for fun.

As far as deaths are concerned, I reckon Burgh de Rott has a problem, and Calsidiu shall kill himself if he features.
