Seriously though, the one thing that worries me though, is if we're fighting Drakan in the next quest, and the next quest isn't the finale, who do we get to fight in the finale?

I'm guessing Vamp**ium will come into the finale somehow, but still...
Arguing with morons is like playing chess with a pigeon: even if they lose, they just knock over the pieces, **** on the board and strut around like they won.

We might be fighting him, but not necessarily killing him. Even if he does die, there is a vampyre much worse than he is still in the picture...

As for Vamp**ium, it's mentioned in the decaying tome, but I doubt that it'll become important now that we know what it is. The quest series is very much about Morytania (and Misthalin).

Perhaps you're half right; perhaps we can't win. But we can fight.

Maybe Drakan was trying to open a portal to Vamp**ium or someone from Vamp**ium manipulated him into trying it and that someone turns out to be the real villain, its just a wild gues. Vamp**ium Vampyres apparantly are a lot stronger than the other ones, imagine an entire planet of Vanstrom's :D . Or maybe Drakan wants to go back to the old vampyre ways from before Zaros encountered them and is trying to get Vamp**ium vampyres who remember the days from before the aristocracy to go to Gielinor and join him. Or Vanescula turns out to be evil and manipulated us from the beginning. Or count Draynor just comes in and says **** you I still remember that day in 2003 where you killed me with steel armor. So many possibilities, especially with the whole 6th age stuff. Heck, some ascended Vamp**ium Vampyre(s) could even turn up.

Sixth Age stuff won't/shouldn't be featured in the Myreque series. I doubt Vamp**ium will feature either; at this point it was mentioned in the decaying tome and, outside the series, by Zaros in Fate of the Gods.

Vanescula betraying us is a very realistic possibility though.

I think Vanescula betraying us, Drakan surviving the battle somehow and Vamp**ium are the best options for the finale. Vamp**ium is mentioned in the decaying tome, and I find this line interesting:

With _____ gone I am weak. My fellow _____ spread and sparse.
Vamp**ium ___ lost to me. I am much ___ weak to enter. I still sense it, Zamorak’s bane. It must be mine.

The Icyene __________ me. must rest __________ recover.

I do not know how long I have slept, but I feel my powers rebuilt and my wounds healed.

The darkness consumes me and gives me life once more. I must ______ open _________ recover ______ bring back my brothers and sisters . I will retake these lands.

Maybe whoever wrote this tome (Vanescula?) is trying to open portals to Vamp**ium and to get the true Vampyres to Morytania. Is there any speculation/theories on what the decaying tome actually means? I would love to go to Vamp**ium in the last quest, it would be a lot cooler than Drakan just surviving the battle or something like that.

I hope we get more moral compus choices. I love those.

-Spare/Side with? Drakan (Not the player)
-Vanescula Throne'd
-Ivan KILLED
-Myreque left horrified at my actions.

Would be ideal.

Far from. We've been helping Misthalin, Drezel and the Myreque for half a dozen quests now, it would make absolutely no sense to be able to go against them. You'd get a terrible situation like the ending of The Mighty Fall. If this quest will offer us choices like that, I'll rage. That kind of nonsense doesn't belong in this series. :(
And we've been friends with Zanik for so long.

Did it make sense to be able to kill her?
I will protect Gielinor. Zaros has no love for its people.

No. I'm still angry about it. Apart from Zanik's ending and graphics, it was a mighty fine quest though.

The closest tie the Myreque series has to the Sxith Age is that Branches of Darkmeyer is required for The World Wakes' bonus rewards, and even then, that's just because of the Edicts being destroyed.
