Indeed, it's a lot of fun reading them, seeing RuneScape as large as it would be without scale theory, so it taking half a day to get across Varrock and stuff like that. You can only fully appreciate a story when you experience it through the eyes of one of its characters.

Just finished Branches of Darkmeyer a few days ago, amazing quest and I'm looking forward to future Myreque quests.

However there's one thing that confuses me, why is Legend's Quest a requirement for it? It had absolutely no involvement with the Legend's Guild.
I will protect Gielinor. Zaros has no love for its people.

I'd love for more than one Myreque quests but I am against it in a sense as 4 more quests would mean that this storyline won't be finished for another 10+ years the rate its going.

I believe an encounter with Drakan can realistically occur within 1 or 2 quests depending on the reason of the encounter. I believe a 2nd quest would be dealing with him and ending his reign of terror.

I think most stuff you want to be answered can be done with post-quest content.

I am personally interested in Drakan's life prior to Gielinor. What rank he had in the society there, why he left and whether he has any unfinished business there. He doesn't seem like the type of character, based on the fact the human-vampyre don't like him, he was just an ordinary vampyre. Perhaps he came to Gielinor because he no choice or whatever.

I hope the "rock" Drakan is interested in is not the SoJ, there are too many people going after it and its rather plain and boring. There are many magical artifacts.

Personally, I think/hope it's either Daeyalt or Salve crystal.

I believe it is in fact the SoJ. Mainly because there's no other stone we know of significant enough for him to spend centuries plotting to acquire it.

And- it makes a perfect tie in with the 6th age.

I see Drakan as another character who wants to follow in Zamorak's footsteps, just like Lucien tried to do.

From what I know that has only been confirmed by Jagex which should be taken with a pinch of salt.

It may tie in with 6th age but we can't have all storylines going after the SoJ, its boring. And following in Zamorak's footsteps is boring as its a story already been told by Lucien. It gets to point of being boring.

There are many magical artifacts in the universe and shouldn't be centered around SoJ. The Gods are going after it and that should be enough otherwise the SoJ, the most powerful and ancient aritfact is seen in every other quest.

Besides, lets say it is the SoJ, Drakan has a fat chance of getting it now the Gods are back.

The gods and the SoJ are pretty boring now, yeah.

Also, we don't know whether Lowerniel wants to acquire the rock - only that he is obsessed with it. IMO daeyalt and the salve crystals are pretty good guesses (and more interesting than the Stone of Jas at any rate). Also, if it were the Stone of Jas, the Myreque finale would have to require Ritual of the Mahjarrat...

I don't see how you can call the Stone of Jas boring O_o

From a story perspective, if Drakan were to be going after the Stone of Jas, he'd have to do it in a much different way then Lucien, since he actually has to worry about the gods and sneaking around them.

Anyway, I'd find it much more interesting if Drakan started gearing up to acquire godhood, then if he just sat back in Morytania and watched the 6th age go by. But maybe that's just me.
