I mean if you are going to poison the merchant, you might as well go the whole hog and rip his limbs off, it takes less time and effort.

Good people don't rip other people's arms off!
A "good" person is a relivite term. By Gielinor's standards we're the bee's knee. By IRL standards we're a serial killing horror show. The World Guardian is technically Good, Neutral and Evil in equal quantity. We will hug a tree, help an orphan and pet a cute fluffy bunny, not get involved in a problem or act as mediator, then kill everything in sight for a slayer task and rip off some limbs and beat them to death with them.

IN this case the whole limb ripping thing is a euphemism.
The purpose of adventure is to shine light into dark places,
Poke monsters with a sharp stick, Then steal anything that isn't nailed down!

... that if we decided right away we didn't trust Vanstrom and decided to fight him in the pub in Canifis, so much of the bad things that happened in the Myreque quests wouldn't have happened. Many of the Myreque members killed would still be alive, and so on...

True, but even if by some miracle we manage to kill him then Morytania would also be stuck in its downward spiral. And everyone would have been either turned into vampyres or use to power the return home. Pretty messy which ever way you look at it.

Easiest method bring the World Gate to Morytania, and Drakon drags everyone home. No one dies. Vampyres can be miserable somewhere else and the Queen get her festering swamp... kingdom back! Admittedly it means they wait a bit longer than in the current lore but that gives Drakon the time he needs to get his act together while we located it.

Today I realised the easiest way to deal with Blood Pact and all the creepy crawlies was to flood the crypts using the near by River andcollapse the entrance. Permanent solution :) .

in the current solution, you only need to kill 1-3 people and the monsters pretty much just stay where they are
easier than diverting a river into it

Today I realized that Osman is actually a mage of incredible ability because he forced a teleport right behind the now former Pharaoh.

Only incredible mages can create exit ends for teleports, or bruteforce them.

Bastard didn't even need the World Guardian's help.
Save yourself.
Savior self.

Your solution only deals with it temporarily. That fact is those crypts are close to the river and some of its walls are probably far too close. there are 3 people, The creepy guy at the end and all of the beasties. I say drown the lot, it won;t even be that hard. Its amazing it is even tolerably dry, so Gielinor style would say it's a spell, find it, turn it off and problem solved.

Demon Slayer

Strut in to the spirits wearing full rune armor (or similar T50+) and weapons.
Calmly explain in a short but authoritative stance:
"Gideon sent me. The demon Delrith is threatening the city NOW. I require the sword. NOW! Please hand it over."

You've pretty much knocked off the Trial of Clear Mind and Body.
As for the faith part ... that you have pretty good faith in yourself to kill the demon and ou're not afraid of a trio of ghosts (plus the whole Gideon sent you part) ...

This would knock out having to do all 3 of the mundane trials and just immediately go and claim the Silverlight shaving a whole few minutes off this impending doom scenario.

If you've completed quests such as:
Underground Pass
Legends
then you probably dealt with demons far more powerful than Delrith.
Heck, even the lesser demons dealt with in Dragon Slayer are a push over.

"Yeah, guys, I regularly spar with black demons barehanded ... I think I can handle Delrith with a weapon designed to slay him."
