He isn't "hateful", at worst he thinks he knows whats best for you more than anybody else or that you can't make the right decisions yourself without his involvement/input. What matters is the intentions are good, the way they are carried out just needs to be changed.

If you paid attention to Armadyl's dialogue he still wants Zamorak gone after he "broke with Saradomin".

Also you do realize Zamorak hints too that he will be bringing his army and will thus have an advantage if nobody else does? If Saradomin doesn't involve the military another god will, and is going to have the upper hand. Bringing only 10 people to none is simply too dangerous for a task such as this.

this quest will not change anyone's opinion of Saradomin.

those that supported him will continue to do so, and those that don't, wont.
people will read what they want to read and no amount of posting on reddit or here will change that. some of you really try to make obvious your dislike of this character and some of you even try to convince others of your personal bias for said character. its like why even bother anymore :| . its how we interpret his character as individuals at the end of the day. Saradomin will still be Saradomin even after the endgame :P

Have a nice night with your delusions of Saradomin's grandeur.
ignore this post i misread your comment

Neither does Saradomin now which you keep on insisting.

...

Sliske would be frightened and immediately surrender.

HE LITERALLY DESTROYED THE CAPITOL OF NARGUN, BECAUSE THEY DIDNT WANT TO WORSHIP HIM

Saradomin is a power hungry monster who must be destroyed. If he was truly wise, he would not need to use an army, he would be able to negotiate his way out of anything. He constantly boasts about how he is the "One True God," and that all the others must be removed. Sorry, but I can't really see Zaros and Zammy just deciding to up and leave because Sara told them to. His power hungry personality will see the world destroyed. You forget that Armadyl almost sided with Zamorak at Forinthry, but it was due to Sara's lying and manipulation that he didn't, which caused the Wilderness to form in the first place.
alot of that was propaganda from followers who have never met him and only been fed misinformation from others. as far as we know Saradomin isn't banishing anyone or has plans to. jagex should redo his emissary's dialogue since it contradicts some of his current goals.

Morvek is your above post directed at me or Padomenes? Because if it's at me, I am throughly confused.

Edit: Ah I see your edit. I get it now. I pulled it from his dialogue from Missing, Presumed Death.

NONE OF THE GODS DESERVE THE POWER.

But this thread is about Saradomin, so I'm taking this time to bash him.

His not "power hungry", he wants to make decisions for you because he feels he cannot trust you to do it correctly/safely and that you will mess everything up if you are learned from whatever experience he had as a mortal. It would be "chaos".

What about the power to do that and keep danger in check?

Thing is if you have intentions that are good, and there are others who want to snatch power if you don't take it from them they are going to win then use it to shape the world. You've got no choice literally, it is "kill or be killed".

Its the same as having a weapon to protect yourself or having better weapons than bad guys who want to hurt you.

Saradomin is the god of order, he wants the world to be molded in his image just like the other gods want the world to be molded in theirs, so why are arguing? gods will influence the world regardless
Yep exactly and that is his vision. I'm trying to say his not as bad as people make him out to be.

A god of order would see anything that is not orderly or is outside of the structure of order as something that is risky and threatens the safety of everybody/everything. The structure of "Order" would be created in mind with the values of stopping chaos, and for the security or greater good of everybody.

Based on conformity and a "I know whats best for you. Don't try to do things yourself, you will only get hurt or hurt others." ideology.

As long as it remains marginalized I will continue to support this faction until it becomes equal. I am also going to make Saradomin and Zamorak break-up and go their separate ways instead of fighting or that neither die fighting each other.
