I have mostly been aligned to Armadyl, since he seems to most closely represent my values. However, I have sometimes changed my allegiance to Zaros. We know relatively little about Armadyl, and I am sympathetic towards Zaros. Watching a youtube video of the latest quest, I think Zaros was unfairly portrayed by Seren and Guthix. Zaros also always rewards the player well for helping him, with the shard of zaros, ancient magics and curses, etc. But Seren is a god that seems to be good, just like Armadyl (Note: I cannot access Elf City yet). And I do not agree with everything that Zaros believes. For example, while it is an admirable, virtuous goal to drive people to fulfill their potential, I do not believe that someone does not deserve the gift of life if they give in to weakness. And while I am sure Zaros's empire accomplished a great many good things, no doubt it was not a perfect empire. For example, the Avernic were slaves and humans were not exactly the most valued race.

Who should I align with? Armadyl, Zaros, or Seren?

I find Armadyl to be a vile, hypocritical, disgusting clone of Saradomin. Zaros is a manipulator and the way he will behave around you in FOT* isn't going to be the way he'd normally behave because he needs you. Heck, even in TLW his behavior with you instantly changes because he doesn't need you nearly as much--if at all--at this point.

To be perfectly candid with you, I don't support the ideals of peace. In fact, being blunt, I consider them to be childish, naive, short-sighted, and cowardly. Nevertheless, among the peaceful Gods, Seren is the only one I've seen to carry these ideals with any form of integrity, dignity, and honor. If I were to join a peaceful God, it'd be Seren. Ultimately, though, the choice is yours.
Runescape doesn't need a hero...it needs a villain. An all encompassing force of evil that will remain ever-threatening and use chaos to make the peoples of Gielinor tolerate each other, grow strong together, and fight side by side against this evil. I am that villain.

"For example, while it is an admirable, virtuous goal to drive people to fulfill their potential, I do not believe that someone does not deserve the gift of life if they give in to weakness."

For this, I think you would prefer Seren or Armadyl. Armadyl wants to be a shepherd, guiding people so that they can triumph in spite of their apparent weakness, while Seren values all life. However, she wants to protect people, which you might take to mean limiting one from avenues that brings about one's full potential.

I think only you can decide which god to follow, but since you asked for the opinions of others, would you be willing to consider Saradomin? If not, out of the 3 gods you listed, I would choose Armadyl, as I think that he would have more of a positive influence on the world than either Zaros or Seren. I believe that in contrast to Zaros, who would seek to control all others, and Seren, who would seek to isolate herself and her followers from the rest of the world, Armadyl would seek to have mortals and gods share the world and work together. At his best, Armadyl is pure-hearted, just, and virtuous. However, he can also be arrogant, and has a history of being naive and idealistic to a fault.

That said, Zaros and Seren have their merits as well. I just respect Armadyl more and he would be the god I would follow if I wasn't a Saradominist.

Well, I'm going to be biased, obviously, but of those three, I find Armadyl to be the best of the bunch. They all mean well, of course, but Armadyl has made more of an effort to try to do what's right. Although I do really like Seren and I am willing to give Zaros the benefit of doubt; stopping the Elder Gods is a very important goal, even if it isn't as immediate of a threat as Bandos or Tuska.

And before anyone criticizes me, I'm not trying to faction bash. I don't hate any of the three.

EDIT:

Why should you only chose one? You can chose to aid all three, then just sign up for the faction you agree the most with the teachings of.

This is probably the best you could do if you really like all of them.

Zaros, he's the one true god of Gielinor. Seren is a judgemental ***** who's completely blind to reason and Armadyl is a just giant chicken. ·

I'd recommend either Armadyl or Seren, depending upon your preferences.

While I had my suspicious with Zaros, I was open to giving him a chance to prove himself, but Seren certainly added a bit of extra doubt to the pile.

At least you can always talk to Seren and Zaros at this point (and Zamorak). We still need places to talk to Armadyl and Saradomin.
