I'm not sure comparing a Mahj in combat to a mortal human in combat is 'fair'.
Plus until we see how the fight really went down, we have to take Viggora's account of the battle at face value: Zamorak only won due to luck.

To a Vampyre, not a human, and one of the ancient Vampyres at that. Drakan stood alongside Zamorak during the second age, he is likely just as powerful as the stronger Mahjarrat.

Mod Ana I will hopefulyy be seeing you and runescape crew at MCM today. I have a slew of questions to batter you all with :)

Btw nice Zaros assumption. Whoever said he was power hungry? He may be but really he could have other motives we don't know about. Kind if sick of people filling the void of unknown stuff with just stuff they think is right. Armadylians are particularly bad at this.

More sick of these bad rp god threads mind you.

Honestly, I'd like to see something like fixing up Burgh De Rott a little more and fortifying it for battle.

Then the second part of the quest is dividing up your three defender forces (The Myreque, Citizens of Burgh De Rott and Mercenary Adventurers) to defend different parts of the city/land around the city, and then you defend against waves of attacking Vampyres, after that, you decide which forces to leave behind to defend the city, and which to take into Hallowvale to push into the Vampyres themselves.

Of course that probably wont happen, but a man can dream.

New poster here! Hi everyone!

I love the Vampyre series. It's probably my favorite besides the Mahjarrat series. Though something confused me in the conversation with the Pharoah Queen; she says that Zaros was plotting in Morytania, though as far as I can remember neither Zaros nor his forces ever set foot in Hollowvale, during the Second Age or otherwise (besides Sliske).

Sorry if this has been discussed before.

Ofc Zaros set foot there. Canifis was Kharyll a Zarosian stronghold.

Though interestingly Senliten calls it Morytania without knowing about the name change to Morytania so it makes less sense.

You'll have to forgive me, I don't know what OFC means. Urban dictionary tells me it's Original Female Character, but I doubt that's what you were going for.

And yeah, that makes sense. But I never thought Zaros made Morytania his hideout spot, since Senliten seems to think that's his brooding spot. And yeah, her calling it Morytania is a bit strange.

ofc = of course

by the way Morytania wasn't exactly his territory, but rather another battlefield he was fighting at;.

Just like he was battling the menaphites at the desert, as told by pharaoh Senliten, he was battling (or at least a great enemy of) the reign of Hollows, of the saradominist icyenes of queen Efaritay.

The new lore about Slayer Tower we see today states that it was a fortress built for the zarosian forces against the saradominist, at second age.

Oh about the name, perhaps zarosians had already come up with the name by then, and then zamorakians just kept with it when Drakan took it over o:
