This also raises more speculation, how will Morytania and Misthalin change after the quest, and what will take place in Sixth Age Morytania?
Honestly, I'm getting the feeling that nothing significant is going to change immediately once everything's said and done. The fact that Jagex seems to love doing as little work as possible these days in regards to consequences aside, Morytania is a land that suffered thousands of years of abuse and degradation (makes change hard), and Misthalin as a whole seems kinda too big in canon for there to be any major changes beyond the Silvarea Pass and maybe Varrock at most. And that's assuming the vampyres manage to get past the Paterdomus in the first place
....Then again, that conspiracy group did have a map of religious sites left behind when we last saw them. So maybe that would facilitate change of some form for all I know.

I was thinking more along the lines of waiting to see what happens in the quest before making a decision, but right now it's looking like the thread will stay up and change focus from the myreque to whatever the future holds for morytania and the vampyres unless something major happens in the finale.

Im aware that 7 out of those 9 months was 1 mod by himself, who claimed he struggled, but still. Theres also how this quest is being developed by multiple mods at once or something, which would effectively speed up the process.
I have my concerns as well, but as you said there are more mods working on the finale too. I don't know a whole lot about game development but I'm 99.9% certain that sort of thing goes faster with more developers working on different parts at the same time instead of 1 guy doing everything.

I remember the original pitch for LoV included Castle Drakan as a post quest area but was apparently scrapped because Srowl*y didn't know what to put in it for post quest content at the time. So if we don't get to visit it during the quest (doubtful but wouldn't be surprised if it got cut due to time constraints) I think we might be able to get that blood essence stuff that was mentioned in the video from there somehow.
