^Thanks for that. I managed to track down the exact wording from a friend who did the quest a few days back so it checks out.

Original message details are unavailable.
Note to self:
A Taste of Hope text was added to page 4

Current character list updated to reflect the events of TLoV. Did not add the named Vyrelords/lady to the vampyres section because of their small roles in the quest. May change this later if they prove to be more than a one off NPC.

Need post quest dialogue from: Vanescula, Ivan, Roald. Investigate Kara-Meir and sunspear connection too.

Status quo post on page 1 updated. Also removed old and outdated discussion topics and added a new one. Will add one about the mysterious prisoner once I find space/time to do so.

Well, just finished LoV and I must say it does my favourite quest series justice. Great puzzles, amazing atmosphere, and a challenging boss fight. After years of waiting for Drakan to make his appearance, he lived up to my expectations (He was friggen big!). I also loved how this quest ended on a bit of a bad note instead of the usual 'saving the day'. You can't take down Lord Drakan without some heavy sacrifices after all.

It's also very interesting how there were hints regarding the novels in the quest. Aside from the Sunspear, there is also a book in castle Drakan mentioning prince Tenebra. Saying that they're his notes and that most of the first pages have been torn out. Or something among those lines.

I find it a bit of a shame though that the quest takes place in the fifth age. I would have loved to see how Drakan would react to the return of the gods and all that. It also makes little sense how your character could face off against the world's strongest vampyre (who I believe is on the same level as a rejuvenated mahjarrat) on their own with seemingly less trouble than with Vanstrom. To me it would have made more sense to take place in the Sixth age, seeing how your character has improved in strength by that time and the Edicts are gone (no need to work around those anymore). We've come so far in the story of RS, why go back to less interesting times? So yeah, in my own little head I still consider it Sixth Age, but that's just me.

Also, we didn't really get to know where the missing people from Burgh de Rott went did we? Or did I just miss something?

And is there anyone else besides me who thinks the prisoned woman in the dungeons of Castle Drakan is queen Efaritay? It seems rather obvious.

Can't wait for the next one!

The birthmarks! Don't forget the birthmarks! Also, fun fact, a certain someone has PQD if you have the Sunspear on you...

Safalaan is alive.

I doubt it.

Basing such things on examines is a bit much imho. It's probably just the case that they didn't see a need to create another separate inanimate entity for Safalaan with its own examine since he dies right before you leave the area.

Pol*afi could be alive, but unlikely for long. Unless he gets together with that prisoner and they work together to get out- before the vyres come back for him.
If Safalaan wasn't alive, why would Vanescula teleport away with his alleged corpse? What use does she have for him?

Perhaps she needs to drain more blood- or keep his corpse for some Haemalchemy process. Or she wants to try and turn him into a Vyre.

I believe she would tell she *didn't* kill safalaan if that were the truth, since then we'd be more keen to trust her. As it stands, we're poised to act in direct opposition to her now.

If it helps, I'm sure I heard Rowl*y somewhere saying Ana planned to kill him in a more definitive way. I'd say its 50/ 50 at this point.

I'm hoping he's dead. Being alive would just make him more cliche than ever and it would be teachable about why not to be stupid.

*Appears in a burst of smoke and other neat stuff*

I have no idea how the hell I managed to forget this existed in the span of...5-6 months or so. I blame my Bloodborne and now Salt & Sanctuary addiction for that. So reprofile and all the other fun stuff >_>

Other news...

New BTS article for the month of April. The finale is in sight!

All post quest dialogue for TLoV is now up. Included Kara-Meir dialogue with the Sunspear too.

Found bookcase lore dialogue from the Castle Drakan segment.

Note to self: ran out of space for the opening lore pages. Might have to make a new redirect for future post quest/lore stuff for River of Blood once it and the related updates go live.

Glad to see you have great taste in games as always Mad Hatter.

I'm both excited and skeptical that the quest is coming so soon. I hope the Guardians have had enough time to detail everything to excellence.

I'm glad I kept this title on since the end of LoV in hopes of keeping the Myreque alive until RoB, looks like it's finally paying off.

It's good to know we'll be able to build monuments to our fallen friends before the quest.

This also raises more speculation, how will Morytania and Misthalin change after the quest, and what will take place in Sixth Age Morytania?
