I don't know if it's in there, but it's been confirmed where Daeyalt ore comes from; it's ore that has been made magical by the stone of Jas. apparently, the Stone was once hidden under myerditch. That's why the Daeyalt ore is magical, it has the stone's residue energy (similar to the glacor cave, and fist of guthix)

I just think that judging from dialogue and the STRIKING similarity between Vanstrom's form when he discusses Safalaan's heritage and his appearance himself allows for the judgement.
