^ I picked the option when it first came up, but all I got was the quest just railroading the conversation into the monk talking about how such a thing was impossible before whining about the murders again. Didn't see it the second time around so idk how that plays out.

Though either way I think me declaring all the gods as my enemy when they're right there in front of me was probably one of my better moments as far as 'did I just do that?' type of stuff goes.

I'm not sure about what Mod Ana is doing. I think we can expect a post from her anytime soon now.

It's hard to tell what Drakan is going to do now. He already has a lot to deal with in his own back yard, so can he afford to dabble in the affairs of the gods?

Actually, for the Zamorakian monks option, there was a bit more to it than that. It went on for a couple/few chatboxes.

Brother Samwell seemed unaware the temple had been captured by Zamorakian monks, and talked of how he had to inform King Roald of this desecration (I'm guessing the monks were heading to Paterdomus). However, he said something like how he was unhappy they'd taken over their temple, they didn't fit the evidence we had found, or something.

I may not remember it perfectly.

Balustan, is that true? Perhaps we should plan what questions/points we want to put out that we think will be helpful.

Kittyphantom: I reckon that the option was a nod to the fact that the scene of the crime is next to Paterdomus, a place deeply associated with the Myreque. This is only fair since the horror of the beginning of the quest borrowed greatly from the ambiance of Morytania.

At Runefest btw so probably pointless doing that and it is unlikely to actually happen in the 1 hour lore slot.

BREAKING NEWS: There were Zarosian Vampyres, even after Drakan joined Zamorak's rebellion. There are no known survivors, however. - Above the Lore podcast

Also, Vampyrium is a 'broken world'. This was said in connection with the question, "Why did Zaros take in 'evil' beings, in light of the fact that many of these went on to stab him in the back?" Mod John A said that they might not have been 'evil' at the time of Zaros' fall. Still, I doubt that Drakan was a pleasant fellow on those days.

I think that brings a different point up though. We know Vampyres aren't really nice in general (at least by human standards), but by whose standards are we calling them evil anyway? I mean, this is a race of supposedly immortal beings who just don't die short of being killed (as far as we know), at the moment they're stuck behind a barrier that's severely limiting their food resources to the point where they're rationing, and on top of that their current 'leader' doesn't seem to be doing much outside of looking for a rock that might not even do anything for the race as a whole.

^I don't know about anyone else, but if I were in those Vampyre's shoes I'd be pretty ticked off too. Maybe they weren't 'evil' around Zaros' time simply because life might have been a lot better for them compared to what's going on in their conquered lands right now.
