Holy crap I forgot this thing existed for a while. *kicks back up*
Edit: 1000 posts. Friends, I would like to share a toast, for our loreans and historians, for our friends, for our discussions; for the greatest Myreque discussion thread in existence. Amen.
----
I suck at toasts/speeches, so what he said
I was listening to an old podcast (actually, I think it was Above the Lore #1), and it seemed notable to me, Ana and Osborne seemed to agree that removing the Edicts actually resolved potential plotholes and roadblocks from the planned Myreque story, rather than adding to them. Ana also said the Edicts were why she couldn't yet use Drakan.
So what could this mean? Does Drakan have some major link to the gods? Is he on the cusp of godhood himself? Is there some source of Elder Power in Morytania?
----
If what Vanstrom said in the postbag is right, the vampyre race is old enough to remember days before the Mahjarrat were even around. What if they're also old enough to remember times before the likes of Zaros and the rest of the Younger Gods were around as well?
So maybe Drakan might not be on the verge of godhood (yet), but he might have some past experiences with the gods that can come into play during the 6th age. But what form it takes is anyone's guess.
^+^ Antediluvian of the Draculesti Bloodline ^+^
^+^ If the Gods see fit to curse us with the Blood, then we shall raise ourselves above them ^+^
Do you know of Demither10? He's a friend of mine (and a forum moderator, which is why I turn to you), but he's been mostly inactive for some months now... So he still hasn't done The World Wakes. (He came back at one point, but got 99 Thieving and left again shortly before release... Like a day before release.)
I'd more recently been encouraging him to get a bond and do The World Wakes. Last time we spoke, he said he would most likely get this bond in 'early December'.
Now, you know what is very nearly upon us. I'd like it, of course, if he'd do The World Wakes before it begins - Yet we have so little time.
Is there any way you can get his attention somehow and have him log in and speak to me before it is too late?
The Asgarnian ale must flow.

Not to butt-in on your message, but could I ask what this "you know what" that is nearly upon us? Are you referring to the World Event, the Eclipse from Zanaris/the day of complete shadow, or something else?
I'm just curious, and I'm thinking it has to be related to the aftermath of The World Wakes (which is nearly everything now, in hindsight!) if you seek for your friend to complete it prior to this "you know what" that is "nearly upon us".
