: The World Wakes has been in development since the beginning of July 2012 - so that's about 8 months in total. In Kittyphantom's quote I think Mark over-estimated a little, but it's still longer than a lot of quests get. For example, Branches had a fairly long development time at about 6 months from start to finish, including the graphical rework to all the vampyres.

: I didn't voice Nex
. That was Mod Vicki, I think. And thank you for your later compliment - although I think there are plenty of other developers who would do a fantastic job

How does it feel to know people are comparing this quest to WGS before it's even released?
It would be a nice irony if it is, as WGS was made by Tytn, the old Myreque developer. Myreque devs have a habit of making epic grandmasters? ;o
Of course, it's too soon to say, but I have faith.
You can only fully appreciate a story when you experience it through the eyes of one of its characters.
My theory remains that Mod Ana is Mod Tytn after a visit to the makeover mage. Due to the fame of Mod Tytn's work it was decided he should change identity and pose as a new developer to stop hype on upcomming projects he was working on.
Edit: Oh and on the Nex thing I was misinformed it seems.

Does this mean that Myreque VI isn't scheduled yet? I'm afraid I'm broke at the moment. Can't you use your feminine charms to persuade him?

8 months eh? If Branches had only 6 months development time then TWW has to be a very awesome quest indeed!
I've seen the BTS video on the Slayer tower update. I wanted the tower to get an update for some time and it looks pretty awesome from what I can see. They are gonna put some more story into it as well. A very good idea.

I should point out that the Ivandis Flail is practically useless now, at least when I tested it. Blisterwood stakes seem to be more effective than the polearm, but I haven't tried magic yet.
Also, the Vyrewatch shoot a bolt of fire at you now, dealing magic damage.

What can I say? Reaching a few massive milestones in my life while coming down with a serious illness at the same time does that to me. I blame my crappy immune system personally :p
Slayer tower rework: looking forward to it actually. I tend to be around that thing a lot because Sumona apparently hates me enough to keep giving me monsters based out of there. lol.

I've found that the puppy dog sad face usually works for me if all else fails. xD
Drakan going towards godhood sounds....reasonable, I guess. I really can't think of many quest villains that actually have that goal now (though that may change) after Lucien got his ass handed to him by the dragonkin.
No real comment on anything about the vampyre society's power structure atm. I'm still trying to come to my own conclusions about it since I've always thought he's probably the most powerful vampyre on this world for now, so it stands to reason maybe nobody wants the job because it'll be like wearing a massive target on their back if they take it if/when Drakan gets outed.

The Ivandis flail thing makes me wonder... Does anyone know how we are to kill juvinates if the special attacks from the Ivandis rod and flail are removed? Do you simply use the item on them or something? Or is there some kind of operate option?

I don't live too far from Cambridge, I could go give Mod Mark some "persuasion"
I think now the flail is just a hitty stick, no cool features, except its now a halberd. I presume the rod is the same, except not a halberd and without the vyrewatch capability
