Never understood why WGS was so loved...I thought that was an awful quest. *shudder*

I hope you're trolling, if you are being honest I can try to respect your opinion but I can't come up with any reasoning for saying that. This quest had everything any quest/lore lover would want in a quest. Great storyline from begining to end, music really fit the mood for each scene (Temple Desecrated anyone?), sense of accomplishment when you completed the quest, puzzles that made your mind think(for the most part), and great rewards for a quest of it's caliber.

So of course, my vote goes to: While Guthix Sleeps. (R.I.P The Elite Eight - Two members)
Batman is Bruce Wayne.

I think it was branches of Darkmeyer, the one where we first go into Meirditch, and have to hop through the roof tops, i remember being so frustrated and immersed in that quest looking for the next building to jump to or climb on, and all while trying to avoid Vampyres. That whole quest series is by far my favorite. I also feel nostalgic thinking about Murder Mystery

That's The Darkness of Hallowvale , which was still a really good, old-school style quest. Really underrated, if you ask me. It was great, really set the scene and mood for any quest that would come afterwards.

Nope. WGS was horrible. It took one of the best quests (Temple of Ikov) and ruined it by taking away our freedom. It wasn't enough to just take away out freedom, but it made it out like we didn't know any better if we joined Lucien.

I'd vote for The Temple at Sentistenn personally :)

Diverse, puzzling, good lore...and pulls several strands together!

The Right Honourable, The Lord Hums of Senntisten, Pontifex Maximus & Praetorians Principale* of the Zarosian Empire

Hmmm interesting....

It comes down to two, pretty obvious ones when you think about it.

While Guthix Sleeps and The World Wakes.

While Guthix Sleeps was pretty much what happens when you take a couple of loose plot threads are really run with them. Was pretty much the culmination of Mod Tytn's style of writing/designing and was probably a serious game-changer to how we look at the game's story as a whole, both in real life and in-game pretty much being a central piece of the 5th age when it came to over-arching story (Tied with Mahjarrat quest line)

It really did an excellent job, of creating continuity between Quests. Of a something growing in background, slowly rising to the surface. Only problem really being with when carried over into Rotm it never actually came crashing down.

The World Wakes always struck me as written for the current more developed Lore Hounds, replicating a similar style of what happens when something has slowly been rising however chooses instead to have use experience what happens when it all comes crashing down around us. Also reassures me that Mod Ana has the 'golden touch' so to say, as i can't truely say that anything she has produced Quest-wise i would not label as excellent.

It was the first quest to actually address the player's varying alligences, Guthxian/Zarosian/Saradominists/Others. Eventually mounting in a decision of which side you will put yourself with (Granted a fruitless decision, but when you don't know what is going to happen you think, what faction you choose will affect how the story ends).

So ultimately i refuse to pick a favourite because i can't in the end.
