Jagex intend to undermine the entire Seren faction by making the personality of Seren based on the actions of the player. It's no longer the Seren faction.
And her appearance 😭😭 hopefully it will only be minor like Zaros.
I worship Mah, for she is mah homegirl! The correct adjective for Mah's followers are: Mahomies, Mah-homeboys, or Mah-homegirls.
If i were worried i'd atleast be content the differ between cleansed and corrupted Seren is hardly match to what one could have chosen for Zaros previously.
But i do underestimate the common humans again do i! Many have high hopes for this subject to remain at same level as with Zaros indeed... But there is no hope. But don't get mi phare wrong now, no?

Have to agree with this. This goes even farther than what we hypothesized before Fate of the Gods for Zaros. With him, he was to look different based on player choices (Well, a bit more than what we ended up with). Also, there's the issue of having her act and think differently based on choices is something that I despised in Death of Chivalry.

The Behind the Scenes says we are able to change the way she "acts." That one word could mean a myriad of things. I don't think she's going to completely revamp the way she believes just because you damaged some of her crystals.
I see damaging her would effect her more on a neurological level. Have you seen hospital patients who have suffered through severe brain damage or gone through a hemispherectomy? Damaging/removing her crystals might simply just give her slurred speech, make her words jumbled up, give her random fits of seizures, make her eyes twitch on occasions, etc. But to make her alter her beliefs is quite out of the box.
Like, how do we know which crystal does what? Seren is said to be the only one to communicate with crystals. She is the only one that would know which crystal serves what functions. If I were to hit your head with a baseball bat, would you suddenly become a republican and vote for (removed) in the next election? It could. It could also give you some brain damage, memory loss, a few other problems.
I say let's not panic and not assume this stuff when little info is yet to be revealed. I believe another Behind the Scenes is coming next week. Maybe it will give us more specific detail on what "acts" means.
Overall, I highly doubt they will change Seren drastically based on your choices. Everyone will still end up with similar outcomes, whether you sabotage her or not. And if they make the sabotaged seren turn into the next bandos, and the normal seren as left untouched, jagex would have to create seperate gameplay and adapt to it everytime content comes out, which would really suck on there part.
Knowing Jagex, they prefer a binary of options, with the occasional third option to mix things up. They're going to have a template that will keep Seren's portrayals close together.

I sympathise with your issues, but Seren can't just sit and do nothing in the 6th age.
The elder gods are waking up, the stone is up for grabs, the lessers and back yet again ruining Gielinor.
Every god is doing something, Zaros is devising his master plan behind the scenes, Saradomin is trying to resurrect a race, Zamorak is trying to cheat, Armadyl is... well... Alright most of the gods are doing something.
Seren can't stand there like a lemon. She has to be involved.
But I don't think she'll be changing personality wise for those who like yourself and many others will be restoring her properly, this entire hint at insanity is likely towards the people who for some reason hate her and will sabotage her.
I see her return and changes to her character as nothing but positives.
Don't abandon the faction and certainly not the game, at least wait and play through the quest and post quest before deciding that.
This post made me laugh, cry, and overall feel.
10/10 would agree.
