Also I'm curious; Ocellus looks like a regular blood reaver in the comic, did his appearance change when he was given Guardian of Guthix powers or by some other source, or did you just simplify his design for the comic?

Actually Ocellus and Auriculus are Virii, which are Cthonian. Bloodreavers are Avernic.

And yes, I would imagine that when Guthix gave him the power to become a Guardian, his appearence changed to a larger version of his original form. Just use Fiara, Juna, and Valuta as examples of the same thing.

Also, the crystaline structures that currently grown out his body are self-inflicted side affects of his testing by combining runes with Tears of Guthix. Crondis, mightiest God of the Kharidian Desert!

Well this is a first draft so stuff like that can be changed. Though I would rather have Firemaker's curse slightly retconned cause it makes more sense that he didn't know he would gain godhood from it due to this information not being available.

Well...he found out about the Stone of Jas AND found the actual artifact. Somehow this knowledges seems a lot harder to obtain than finding out that mortals can ascended.

One look at Saradomin and Armadyl gives it away.

"Huh...human turned into a God...Aviansie turned into a god...makes you think that maybe, just maybe...mortals can ascend."

Zaros knew immediately that they had ascended. He didn't ask them "What Elder God created you?", he just knew.

Human turned into a god? Doubt he knew that. Saradomin isn't exactly going to have spread that around and neither would Armadyl they don't want mortals to know how to become gods. Also nobody knew either of them killed or used artefacts go gain it. He knew the staff was a god weapon as in a weapon used by the god and he knew the stone was powerful but he didn't know much about them.

Zaros knows more than most. Just like he knew Mahjarrat were of the same origin as himself. Zaros just knows some things as apparently the world guardian does accoridng to the fotgs faq.

There is no way that information was available for Zamorak at all.

Ha ha, my friend, this stuff is from before the release of the flash powder factory. You have nicer gear! But dang, I miss the Rogue's Den...
I was debating if using this stuff for a forum picture would give me a unique look or not: Apparently it did. It's keeping me encouraged onto 99 (or 120) Thieving. :D

Yeah I was thinking about that a while after I made the post. I was recalling Zaros' talk about Virii, and how they are the Cthonian equivilent of Avernic hellhounds. Somehow, my mind just switched Hellhound and Bloodreaver.

Onto the Guardians, I believe it was speculated at one point that some change is made to Guardians upon given the position, just seeing the massive sizes of the three I mentioned. It wasn't ever said in game to my knowledge, so it is up to him for details. Crondis, mightiest God of the Kharidian Desert!

Saradomin might have hid it, but Armadyl gave it out as public knowledge. The only thing he hid was the identity of one of the artifacts. Also, just looking at him, if you didn't know who he was, you'd have assumed he was just another Aviansie in his normal sized form.
