This is a thread for discussion of the Zaros comic I'm posting on Twitter, "The Empty Throne".

A few notes on the comic:


  • It's unofficial. Mod Osborne has read over it and likes it, but none of us have looked through it with a critical eye and it hasn't gone through a formal feedback process. This is why I'm posting it on Twitter for now.

  • It's an early draft. Feel free to give feedback on what happened or what you'd like to see happen, especially with regard to consistency.

  • It's going to look pretty rough.

  • I'm posting one per day for now on my Twitter account, @JagexJack. Apologies to those who don't use or like Twitter.

Indeed I've enjoyed reading the first page :P . Can't wait for the whole comic. But when you said comic I thought you were going to make a motion comic, or something like that.


Also:
Zamorak didn't look very Mahjarrat like with his vampyric wings like and demonic horns? Did Zamorak actually look like his fellow Mahjarrat Pre-Ascension?

Well let's not forget that if Zamorak ascended using Zaros' energy, that may have had an effect, as Zaros is a mix of Elder and Divine energy, instead of just Divine. The purpose of adventure is to shine light into dark places,

Maybe he would look like an extreme Mahjarrat version. But as a deity he has the option to change his look. Might explain the demonic horns and the vampyric wings. Zamorak's most loyal followers. But you're indeed right, I also believe that the Dark energy of Zaros played an important role here.
