You know what's a really stupid shape? The Staff of Armadyl.
I've hated the outdated look of the Siphon since forever now. I liked how it looked in the Origins of Gielinor Comic, mimicking the Armadyl Battlestaff look, though I would like for it to receive it's own unique updated appearance.
(The Elder Crown got some graphical love, why can't the staff as well?

The Elder Crown looks worse than before as does Saradomin himself so I wouldn't call that Love. The Crown barely looks like it has the symbol on it now. The Siphon's general shape should remain tbh with the Star and the shaft being improved graphically and then the addition would look more like the Arma battlestaff.

I liked the change, so we'll agree to disagree. I'd rather the shaft be straight than some distorted looking rod, or such. Since the Elder Artefacts change to suit their user, perhaps apart from the staff's general shape, it could change to reflect the different gods, like the godswords do? Wouldn't that be something,

They change size to fit the user they do not change shape to our knowledge. If the Elder Gods created it to be that shape, it should remain that shape. God Sword is a bit different in that the 4 gods have some form of input in the sword. Specifically the hilt but also other stuff too. It shouldn't change to suit the gods as Saradomin took the Elder Gods symbol and Armadyl made an addition to make it look different.
Also it may be that shape for a reason. Just as I'm sure the blade is that shape for a reason.
