I don't think there's anything to prove by making examine changes to say it's a copy, but if that's what it takes to let people wear some old outfits that they can only see other people using, fine. Do it.

I dont care for bragging about which events I played, but I guess some people do. It doesn't prove anything important to me so I am here to support letting people obtain the outfits if they want. There's no harm in doing it. Either way.

They rereleased turkeys, a tradable item people mistakenly thought were never coming back.

Primary reason people were upset was because they lost money trying to invest in an unsafe item. If people think it's safe to just dump money into every new event item, and expect it to never return and rise, some people need to be taught that's not how that works. So I m glad they did it the way they did. Le Me lost billions because he thought he was safe.

There is no surprise financial loss on anybody with this sale of holiday items. None of them are tradable. So you cannot relate the two.

No one wants to meet halfway.

For instance people have talked about doing something like gaining points and you
would have to choose which nontradeable item you wanted.

Then I personally suggested that they could put the year it was obtained on anything
not gotten the original year. Or put "copy" on the ones that they would be giving
out now. And i put copy on new ones only because it would probably be easier
than going back and putting "original" on the ones obtained the original year.

No one is happy with any options. You cannot make everyone happy.

I don't think that's the problem -- rather the lack of a compromise that is genuinely distinct from the original is. It'd help too if the concepts were presented visually as well, instead of only explained in words. But then, nobody has the time for that, right? :P

I.e. if someone cared enough, they probably could present a solid compromise.

So yes, it did fail even though it did "pass" the poll.

So you're the one spreading false info by talking about something you don't even know what it is.

Plz actually do your research before posting.
Mathematically the poll passed - it's clear cut. There's no exceptions! So you're spreading false info saying the poll failed.

There is harm in rereleasing items that weren't ever meant to be.
Holiday items were never meant to never be rereleased.
maybe that was how they started, but would it be harmful for them to change that?

Even if they made it clear it's not the original item?
