As my username suggests, I am a returning player. I was forced to replace my name, and didn't quite expect to get drawn back in in this manner. Still hoping to do a display-name change in a week or so.

Anyways;

1. if you've managed to get membership already (through bonds by some very generous souls - which helped me get sucked further in), would purchasing a year's membership (premier or not) stack or would the bonds-membership get cancelled in favour of the one year?

2. My memory may be hazy, and I may be incorrect on some details: I remember that there was a discount for loyal players, who had paid for membership year in and year out. I think you called it loyalty-discount back in the day. Does that still apply to returning players?
If not; is there a way to return to that status?
The joy of returning after a six-year hiatus; I'm a noob again! :D

1. Any membership stacks on top of what membership you might already have. For example, if you have 14 days of membership that you got from redeeming a bond, buying a 12-month package (365 days) would make your total membership time 379 days.

2. It's widely known as "grandfathered membership rate/pricing", and if you let it expire once (by not having membership for more than 14 days), you lose it permanently, even if you buy more membership in the future.

Thank you Jagex for continuing to be a great company that cares about its players. Thank you for such a great game with great updates and great offers. Looking forward to all the updates you still have to come. Keep up the great work.

Don't usually comment in the forums but I feel the need to express my displeasure at the premier artifact. I'm extremely disappointed that you can't use the benefits at the same time as an aura. So now it takes up an inventory/bank space without the benefit of stacking with an aura which is the sole reason I wasn't too bothered about it being an item instead of an aura!

Also it seems like I've been robbed of several months worth of the premier vault. I figured as all info pointed to the benefits stacking with last years gold membership such as an extra key, helion aura, membership extending etc. However, I don't get an extra premier vault so in effect I've purchased this years membership early and lost out on the remaining months access to the premier vault from my last membership.

Its too late for me and I don't expect Jagex to actually amend anything but if this information helps anyone make a more informed decision on purchasing the premier membership my post has achieved something..

Thanks for posting this! I was wondering if it would be like this. I know it was so for the last year's premier club (which I found out the same hard way you did...). So I'll just wait my current premier club subscription to run out first, to fully benefit from it. And then it's time to put those (WAAAAY well in advance, in summer) GE-purchased bonds to work. No way I'm paying for the club with actual money with the rates offered. If I did pay with money, it would only ever be 1 month at a time with the grandfathered prices. The 20 bonds is reasonable, being 4 bonds less than with normal prices.
