I dunno, uncivil bashing can be feedback - it should be a clear message that a mistake has been made :P

I don't even hate Jagex, I hate the decisions that have been made - either by them or the people above them

I even warned them about selling out to the Chinese at the time, that it would be a massive black hole, seems i was right, the stock of the parent company have tanked in a decisive manner.

If someone held a weapon to your face and told you to pay up or die, what would your choice be?

You make it sound as if Mod Pips and Mod Mark brokered a deal with Zhongji Holding (Now Shanghai Fukong Interactive), when that's not at all what happened. Jagex's previous shareholders, Insight Venture Partners, The Raine Group, and Spectrum, all sold their shares of Jagex Ltd. to Zhongji Holding.

There is nothing that the staff of Jagex could have done about that. They are the employees of the company owners. If you really want to call someone a sell out, that would be Andrew Gower, who sold his shares of Jagex to Insight in the first place.
Here, I'll give you this strawberry if you keep it a secret!

If I see another lumby crater event and any more unfinished updates, I'm done with this game. I was expecting this to happen (I don't mind at all, but just wait till' the price reaches 15USD and still deliver mediocre updates) at some point but Jagex needs to take the time to develop good content and not the same cliche stuff over and over. If the price of membership has to go up, then the quality of content goes with it as well...

I know, but they asked for feedback on it back then, I guess they asked for feedback for no reason huh?

Typical :P

One thing they could do is unionize, but contract probably prohibits it, also talking about contracts... I wonder which line in Shauny's contract they used to get him to post this, considering everyone thinks he's the best reddit jmod, Arbitration?

Have you at least ever been reading all the comments in the swamp? you should know that the most wanted and waited updates are bank rework (missing right now placeholders), mobile (since "December" ), Solak (postponed" ), Mining/Smithing (since 1 year or more..), etc.

That's high priority... old promised updates, not new promises for stuff we don't know we will get. I won't be mad if mining/smithing would take more time because that is more complex and not easy.. I recognize it but if there is a task list to do, why add more projects.. jump projects.. deliver last planned projects before others?

And have you seen all the events in the lumbridge crater? I don't play much but.. just look for the sof/th thread all the new items.. more than probably 50-70 in less than 2 years.. do you think that is a high priority or low priority?... Jagex could redirect more workers to the projects/groups that are worth it like ninja fixes (team increased) or old promised updates to not get stuck.

I see this as a feedback, not as a debate.

Literally everyone, in a few minutes: aaaaaaaaa I don't want to pay two extra dollars for something I already pay for!!!

me: Like... they literally said you can keep your current rate if you play consistently. and if you don't, why do you are? What is your problem here?

That's correct - As long as you maintain your subscription (with a 14 day grace period), your subscription costs will be locked to it's current rate.

Maintaining my subscription, currently, I am on a month to month subscription. What if after a year, I decide to switch to a yearly subscription? Will I still get the locked grandfather plan?

I am just saying that price increase was decided higher up. Mod Shauny may collect a lot feedback from here and reddit but it changes nothing. They collected lot of feedback on Squeel of fortune to when it was added, but outcome was zero.
Rs fate lies in hands of corporate fucks. Erm I am not sure we as players can do something about it, it is not like democracy.

I find it pretty ridiculous that you're charging people almost as much as World of Warcraft when they offer a more detailed game in most ways. This game would be worth the price if over half the content wasn't DEAD....
