After reading through the swamp that is the comments on the preceding pages, lets establish a baseline of points that we can all agree on.

1. We are fine with Jagex having more money if the quality of updates are also increased.
2. A majority of the players dislike TH and MTX.
3. Blackwing always has the best posts.
4. Trump is a terrible president... SAD (true)
5. Players are the product, the game is not.

Now that we all agree... Product pricing is not based on the fiscal health of a company. As an optimist I believe Jagex having more money is a good thing... (as an engineer the glass is twice as efficient as it needs to be). We should expect better quality updates; there is more to managing a platform than updates.

I implore you all to channel your unadulterated rage into coherent criticism that can be used.

TL;DR
Rate hikes = not bad

so does this mean you guys are not expecting a large influx of players due to mobile? Be cautious not to make the membership cost too unappealing for players being introduced through mobile. I'm not much of a mobile gamer but I cant think of any that run a fee like that and also plop the mtx on top. not judging because im locked in for the ride, just some advice.

Great points, which we would accept if we were Jagex, the whole "Jagex is a business" argument doesn't even make sense if you know that a business exists because of its customers.

At least one thing about me is clear: I am no apologist for anybody, and neither should you be, I mean we're the one paying for a product not offering it right? :P

I am fine with making money, but at some point the business-customer relationship becomes so lopsided that something breaks, are we at that point? I am not sure, but it is rarely ever known before it happens, even people who get paid to guess this stuff can't guess accurately.

1. How often has that excuse been used? Also Jagex make profit year on year so yeah..
2. True.
3. False. Been here too long, whines a lot.
4. I like Trump. Has better approval ratings than Obama as of this time, no?
5. Also true.

I mean I like many others am still waiting for this "TH rework" Osbourne said was happening, since last November. Guess he's just forgotten all about that hasn't he?

1. This is how every business operates, or else they do not stay a business.
2. Glad we agree
3. Perhaps his whining is him spitting truth you do not want to hear.
4. No. Let me reiterate.. No. You would be correct if you meant to type disapproval ratings.
5. Also glad we agree

M/S rework was planned to be released in September of 2016 if I remember correctly
