Lol I made similar 'predictions' 2 years ago myself.. and here we are with mobile about to release.
Your final question doesn't offer up enough information to make that call.. is it following a nuclear bomb.. am I already injured.. or just some random joe on the street? I'm a pretty determined old woman so it would also depend on the weapon (rune scimmy's don't scare me.. neither does a whip).
Then again, I believe if this measley buck and a half increase is a "make it or break it" for anybody.. they need to review their priorities. We can either afford a game, or we can't (but regardless, our financial positions have nothing to do with the company needing money to stay in business.. that's just common sense). I think it has less to do with people's* priorities and the integrity of the company.
