lol, a simple check of currrent player base 6 months before, then 6 months after EOC clearly shows you're facts are way off.

Also a simple check of what jagex done to eradicate bots at about the same time shows that less people than you think actually quit the game.

Sorry Pips, but I'm not buying it. Everything you say can be condensed into one sentence:

"The company will have a new owner but we believe that said new owner will not even try to interfere in the way we run it."

And if you really believe that, I have a bridge you might like to acquire...

^ Pretty much all that should be said on this thread.

Can't help but feel we're getting a smoke and mirrors treatment.

Love the paranoia

it's not paranoia, it's being logical.

You don't buy 100% of the stocks of a company just to "let it run as normally". Any assurances that the company will run the way it is being run now is moot.

Depends on the thing on the contracts mod balance says they keep game design control so they can't just change the whole game and fire all uk employees because that would be contract breach wich would be bad for the investor if jagex sues them for that breach.

They surely have a contract with rules of what they keep to do and how the investors can interfere they can only demand higer profits nothing more nintendo has investors sony etc every company has.

Before eoc hit on weekdays there were 80k players and weekend 90 k with oldschool etc it's the same and bonus xp weeoend peak was 120k they also have the bggest profit year ever now so lol and with 2 mobile games coming profits are gonna skyrocket even if there are less players they still make good profits to sustainand expand they finally learned there lesson and expend on runescaoe games instead of failing new games wich is good!

Also 30k players were goldfarmers and in the golden peak days probaly like 80k

What is new investors' primary investment intention?

Is it money harbouring or profiteering off of owning Jagex?

Profits thats a sole reason investers invest they buy a comaony for a high price and earn is back in several years and sell it off or keep it as a company this is a company buying them so they are expending better then outright investors like ivp

Lol no.

They'll own the entirety of Jagex. If they really wanted they could layoff the entire Jagex staff and bring in their own development team.
Sip Yep, RuneScape was a good game.
