That's all that really needs to be said, but I'll further elaborate: Guthix has made very clear that he wanted his followers to support the Godless. Guthix wants Gielinor to fend for itself without the influence of gods, hence the Edicts, hence his own slumber, hence his death (which was a very foolish thing as far as his goals go, but hey, my god is back, so whatevs).

Oh, and guess what? At the time of his death, Guthix was my favorite god, and he remained so until I decided he died a fool's death, among other things.

Guthix doesn't want a god cap. Deal with it.

What does that matter? He's a fictional character, and your trying to apply his fictional beliefs to a piece or real world merchandise.

I have read this thread. I don't even care one way or another if they make a Guthix cap, but saying that a fictional god's wishes somehow means you can't use his symbol on merchandise is pure insanity. The JMods have only said that one wasn't made due to these being based on 6th age factions, nothing about trying to abide by in game lore. Honestly, it looks like that stand to make some cash by making a Guthix cap seeing as so many people are requesting it, and if they honestly aren't in the works of getting one made, they're really just throwing away a good opportunity.

I don't even wear hats and I was going to get one for Armadyl! And then I saw the $35 price tag, and the sketchy in-game item, slightly screamed, and decided my money could be better spent elsewhere. I'm a college student, I don't have that much money to spend on a hat...

I just got my Godless cap today, and no I didn't get it for the in-game item but because it's the first proper piece of Godless related merchandise.

For those not worried about spending money, I would recommend getting one if you want one. Don't let the pressure from the other posts in the forums or the anti-jagex hate that people too readily spit out put you off getting one. Y'know, because it's a REAL surprise that a company actually wants to make money.

If you can't afford something, it doesn't make the item bad or the company greedy, it just means you don't have money to throw around. I can't afford a sports car but there are plenty of cheaper choices but it's not the same thing.

So if you want one, save up for one or ask a friend maybe if they'll lend you some money or even get one for you.

On that note, another suggestion to Jagex is to put some of these caps aside for bond buyers. That way we can aide our less fortunate friends in getting one of these.

And seriously, the hat is pretty sweet. I'm Godless although I consider myself Independent/Unaligned I "We create ourselves through life.
