But seriously, regardless of the outcome, I do appreciate how hard you guys try to make this game up to date and fun. The reason I played for 10 years. DONT GIVE UP ON OLDSCHOOL RUNESCAPE!!
Some things I have noticed regarding my experience with customer service.
1) Outdated automated messages. It is one thing to have the correct info on the Support Center.. but for instance you sent me an automated message when I had to cancel my membership, asking me to email you my feedback and reasons for quitting. I did! I was promptly emailed back saying that you did not use that email any longer. Its like this time and time again. When You unfairly (imo) banned my account you sent me a message informing me that you were aware I broke a rule in the game. To go ahead and appeal and that it was not the end of the world. Your support center clearly states that you do not read/process appeals of banned accounts. You see the frustration?
2) Inconsistency among mods and support center. I wont name anyone but several mods, in both this thread, as well as in the rants section are telling people that if they feel they were unfairly banned to appeal. Once again you do not read/process appeals. So someone posts on rants about being unfairly banned ( happens quite often) the mod sees it and says. I know it can be frustrating to be banned, please appeal it! Then locks the thread. There is no two way discussion, no chance to say.. your website says you dont even read appeals.
3) The fact that you dont read appeals in general is not a good thing. We all understand that gold farmers make 10 accounts at once and go ape****; and that taking time for each one of there banned throw away accounts would take ages. At the same time literally on every single fansite, you can find people complaining about being banned unfairly. There are multiple people on YT who have made VIDEOS to try and reach you. There are people with proof of being banned unfairly.
