So.. Will we be able to choose more longer names? I want to change my name to a name that is 14 letters, but it only allows 12 letters.. Or characters. So yeah, maybe make us choose more longer names? Kthxbai.

I've taken 2+ years off this game before, a couple of times (my account is over 13 years old). If I returned either of those times to find my name hijacked, there is no way I would have started playing again.

You are hurting yourselves here, Jagex. You are preventing former members from returning to the game and giving you money. What a stupid update.

I am creating a new skiller, that I hopefully can get 99 slayer on with 1 stats as everything else. Would I be able to create the account now and still get a name. I have the money for a bond for the membership, and another bond for a name change. I would only be taking one name for that account only, I was wondering if that was okay. I dont want to break any rules by capturing a name on a new account.

I agree with this so much. I feel like if someone really wants a particular name, they'll try it. Releasing giant lists seems to me like it would not be such a great idea.

I agree too, or atleast, one week after the names has been released, they could do the list of names remaining from the first batch.

This is good especially for player like me that had an account years ago but cannot remember the log in info so now i can get my Original name back.... YAY!!! Just as long as they don't post a list of the actual character names that they are releasing cuz that would just be unfair for other to just steal the names instead of coming up with them on their own. I look forward to the first release date to be able to get my name back

If a mod could please answer my question, it would be much appreciated.

When I search the name I would like to change my name to on the Adventurer's Log, it says that this acct either does't exist or hasn't been logged into. Will these names be cleaned out and made available to the public? Many thanks
