Could display names for RS3 and OSRS be separate? There are names that are inactive on oldschoo but will never be available because the player plays RS3
No sorry it's the same system.
So to be specific, let's say someone had 20 f2p accounts that were created before 2013, and all 20 were given bonds. Will they be able to take some of these names that are being released since technically they will be a member on the day of the name release?

I really don't like this idea, what If I were to stop playing for 2 years then come back only to find out my sn is gone? (Been playing for 8-9 years). Or we can't play for 6 months without our sn being taken away? I really think this should apply to accounts much older than 2 years and have been inactive. I protest ~

why isn't this voted?where's power to the players?
they're releasing names from accounts that are completely inactive, stop moaning
don't expect everyone to like this update
Theres a name Ive had my eye on for about 4 years, its adventurer log has always said it doesnt exist or has never logged in, yet it still is not available. Will names like these be released? Also why arent they available now in the first place if they dont exist?
This isn't fair to those who were lucky enough to get a rare name back when they were originally available.
This will deter players who are thinking about returning for legacy from doing so once they see their name is changed.
Seeing as you need to be a member to claim any of these stolen names or keep yours for a reasonable amount of time, this is basically an ultimatum: Buy membership or lose your name.
If anything just release names that were caught botting, seeing as most of the accounts created for runescape were bots.
