Some people can*t install it on their PC, because they use Linux. It may be availabe for your PC too, but not for everybody...


Jagex just make JAG and authenticator permanently available. Two layers of security is better than one. Also, authenticator isn´t completely hack-proof. Neither is JAG, but together they provide relatively good safety. Burp.

If you stop supporting the Jagex Guardian it will be a step back, hate this idea, because if someone steals your phone your ******. Not only that but Im not rich and cannot afford any of those fancy phones, If Guardian goes or is removed i will not sbscribe until there is a new better security system than the authenticator.

hoping a jmod actually reads this or someone can pass on my problem with authenticator . i set authenticator for 30 days and then cleared my cache's and found i now have to enter new code,can this be rectified.thx

So in a summary this app can see, what apps I use, what I do and look at when I'm on the web and my history (everything I ever looked at in the past)!!! It can view my calendar (so it knows what I plan to do in the future) , And it can view all my contacts, it can access my storage, and it can access my microphone to record me when I'm not aware of it, ect ect.

I and many other people don't install apps that ask for unnecessary information, And I'm surprised that Jagex wants us to give away personal information to a unknown source in order to have our accounts protected on their game! This is disturbing.

And trying to use other methods of the Authenticator is a big hassle for people who don't want it and new player that just join RS. Thought I would say that so Dark Jam*i won't post something like he has been posting lol.

+1 to the guy who posted the above quote! He is very smart!

stop talking nonsense, it is available for Linux. A lot of people haven't got a F*****G clue what they are talking about and still they come on the forum posting nonsense as like they invented 2 step authentication and know all about it.

Please, if you are clueless, don't post things that you suck out of your thumb.
