i think this is going to cause soooo many issues

i have tried to use the companion ap* on my smart phone and after half an hour flicking between apps continuously to get the codes i finally got one to work only to find i have to remove JAG to use the new buy/sell functions in the app

not everyone has smart phones and to be honest why change something which works
i just think this is a monumental mistake to be polite and that before long there will be issues

also why is there no verification outside for setup but to disable you require email verification ?

instead of wasting all the money from spins/coins and membership on useless updates they should try to improve the game

Funny thing... Jagex always has been telling us not to trust any 3rd party stuff and software, and look at this now. For our own RS Security we need to trust them...
Besides, Jagex always has been advertising with: the game where you do not need to install any software just play and have fun. Guess that is the change of time :(

This has been mentioned previously, but is worth repeating

Mod Rascasse wrote a guide to setting up WinAuth to run portably on a USB drive. This will write its configuration only to the USB drive, and not to your computer so if you unplug the USB drive there is no way its data could ever be accessed over the internet.

I just set up Authenticator on USB stick, and had no problems - it works fine. :)

No No NO, Not again, thougt you had learned the lesson by now.
Why remove JAG it works ok for all, have there been accounts hacked with JAG ?
I play RS on my laptop, i dont want to involve any other hardware. Make all the Crap you like, i dont care, but keep JAG.
Senario, the smartphone won't work, battery's dead or something, wtf this got to do with me wanting to play RS. Try again Jagex
