I'm curious how you got that ratio of males to females.

Probably just based on ingame gender and not real life gender.

Bit shocked as guys tend to love playing as a female character.

I'm curious about that, too. There are studies showing, overall, females are actually close to half of the gaming community, contrary to popular belief.

On the flip side, I wouldn't be surprised if there were a lot of females playing with male characters to avoid certain types of unwanted 'attention'.

Well, when EOC came out, so did the graphic update -especially different walking style(I walk like that?) and similar body type with everyone which isn't really unique-. Don't forget the weird bust that came out from that, fairly aiming toward male audience I suppose (gender bias?).

I have played this game for years, I will say that I do love this game even with the changes. But there is a time when you must ask yourselves if you care more about the money than you do the players. There is a reason there is a bigger demographic of younger players to the older experienced players. It seems as if money is what makes the world go around and this seems as if it is what determines your strategies. I mean you hardly ever compare yourselves to the players you always put yourselves on a pedestal. Has IVP really bought you out, or have you just lost all faith in us?

I have to say, overall you guys have really been doing a great job, I just wish you would take the older demographic into consideration as well, and I can start to see that with the "Legacy Mode" but changing every time the "pkers" complain isn't going to make people happy. Lets face it, most people don't like "pkers" because most of them act like they are above everyone because they rob people of time and effort. A lot of "pkers" don't even care at all about the game, they only care about gp and in game profits. I would like to see quests come back as they used to be, thought out and intricate. Great job on fate of the gods though, that was the best quest I have played in years.

sorry for the double post but this one is interesting as well.
It's free to play, but it seems the popularity of this game isn't what it used to be from my point of view and most of the update were on members and junk in Solomon and treasures.

I happen to be tricked trying to help someone in wilderness and lost 2.7m...when the pker gained 200k.like they say, kindness never goes unpunished.-well that was to blame for my stupidity-

The quest on the other hand is interesting and enjoyable, only wish that other nonmember would share the experience. oh wait, bonds! and where do they come from? (rhetorical question)

well, it is nice to see that we have a majority of mature gamers. unlike other games (like TF2... average age of player is something like 11, and they are ALL *****)

so thanks for those graphs. were actually quite nice to see. and I am CERTAIN that our immature player base increased post-eoc.

good
but there are still bots runing and they are very anoying to the eye
if u stand on edgeville world 44 or every world for 10mins u will c dragon bots with granite d legs whip etc.
if u stand everyworld at burthope chest u will c bots using hometeleport idk what this does but im sure is a bot.

so either they have alien technology or waths up with botwatch?

Hi there!
A few people I know and myself included have taken the time to follow said "dragon botters." Too our surprise most of them were just very shy new players. They were looting other people's drops at dragons, which are otherwise ignored by the slayer-task player who are simply trying to save themselves time. Not a bot either.

I myself have earned 210k per inventory in this method, while my friend focussed on a slayer task. Due to the frequency of bank trips, I too was accused of being a bot many times, despite the fact that I was actively chatting in private message (PM).

Rest assured, this matter has been and is actively being looked into by the community.

I have a major problem with the graphics update creating massive bustline and twig like arms. I smith for a living and I would like my character to look healthy rather than emaciated.

Male characters are unrealistically buff, why are the female characters unrealistically skinny?

There are fools born every minute. Those who believe this hog slop (some call it spin) are among those.

The login numbers include members EOC, OSRS, and f2p. F2p is still awash with bots. The login numbers diminished significantly AFTER their infamous bot nuke. And continue to diminish.

You are aware that fancy charts and graphs can be spun out of thin air, right? With jagex's tendency to manipulate all polls and damp down all dissent, how can you believe this slop?

People who were taken in with 'gold offers' find out they have been scammed. They play the time they paid for, then leave.

This is all about corporate greed, you know the entity that nearly swamped all of the world's ecomonies.

An investment company (IVP) owns the majority of shares in jagex. Investment comapnies exist for one reason only, to provide large dividends to their upper management and investors.

It's time to call 'spin' exactly what it is - bullcrap. And this original post is one humongous pile of bullcrap.

MMG writes: "RuneScape is a game and a social network, for me it’s always been about hanging out with friends, old and new."

So, what do you and your "friends" do in game when "hanging out"?
You don't have to lie, you know. You came to RS to work over Jagex for the new venture cap board of directors. We know this.
