Jagex needs more then membership payments to keep the updates comming weekly.
Not everyone plays hardcore and some bonus xp helps alot to keep the joy in it.
Grindingscape needs to be more adventure and with the voice-quests & other great stuff its getting a amazing upgrade.
I refuse to pay double membership only because some 'hardcore' 'tough' guys dont like Treasure hunt & Solomon store.
Oke some of the updates are terrible but dont forget that Jagex works with PEOPLE and PEOPLE make mistakes.

I would assume it would cost alot more, travel expenses etc, then they'd have to make the RF tickets more expensive and that would turn away alot of people and probably wouldn't be worth it anymore.

That would imply that these are inactive + active accounts... would that make this years spike look very impressive? Good point, it must be only active accounts then

I can't remember when the OSRS poll came around, was that 2012 or early 2013? because i'm sure alot of people made new accounts to vote on that and continued to play on it when the game came out, that's all I can think of as it would mean those accounts would still have P2P, but their overall on RS3 would still be whatever the starting level is now.

If it's not that then I have no idea..

Dear Mod Mark and Staff.

(this is a love letter, dont worry.. Im not here to complain.... lol)

Most people love to whine... but Im actually very grateful. Runescape allows me to escape for a few hours each day from my dreary life, into a world of magic and cash and begging noobs.

I love Player Owned Ports, Thieving, WC and the Grand Exchange.

Im a fan of Solomon's shop, Ive bought a few items and I like the free stuff we get each month (which I know actually costs money and yet we get it free)

Im proud of the fact that I make about 500k daily from legitimate skilling/trade and I enjoy the quests (even when I cant do them.. cause my levels suck)

I love teleporting everywhere and the fact that my character is as sedentary as my realworld fatass.



Regarding critics and all the hate mail you get.



Most people who criticize and whine forget that runescape IS a business.

and a business must evolve and reinvent itself to survive.

Dreamers of Dreams, including Hollywood, most television networks, Apple and Microsoft have to constantly struggle to find new content,

sometimes things work out, sometimes they dont.

Runescape is a business, and a universe of content onto itself.

We cant expect things to be perfect (this is not a post singularity A.I. writing the code... its actual flesh and blood humans...)

So anyway, I just want to say thank you for a good game, I like that I can escape my life sucking existence without feeling guilty that I overpaid. membership is pretty cheap and I like bonds.

And people, stop bitching over microtransactions... Everyone does it, thats why Apple invented "apps" cause they needed revenue, duh! its the laws of economics.

I hope runescape is around for the birth of the VR and the holodeck, cause Id love to walk around Downtown Varrock or travel with my crew to the wushanko isles when they go on trips on player owned ports.
