Most optimistic person in the world here yet from this post i can see you aren't treating your game as if it is in a crisis which is just damn!, Don't see a bright future here.

The only thing community binding this year was the popular hate for the eoc combat system which surprisingly is still strong within the eoc players.

Just be happy your kids got presents this year MMG. If it wasn't for the addicting factor and people being hooked on progress then the eoc would of made a lot of people unemployed at jagex HQ.

I kind of wish my premium membership had some sort of perks in osrs-perhaps one special world-so that I don't have to deal with the HOARDS of bots.

But I guess I don't want osrs to be pay to win (or pay to avoid bots)-so my idea isn't so hot I suppose.

by your 07 stats i can see this is a troll post. There isn't many bots in 07scape at all. Your eoc stats make me wonder whether its just the first time in a few years you've been playing a game that has others players?

There have been a number of good updates this year, but I think the best gift we could receive would be the removal of certain microtransactions that allow players to indirectly pay real money for xp and other benefits (especially the ability to purchase squeal of fortune spins).

Runescape has been part of my life for some time now, i have been playing for about 6-7 years.

I have to say this year has been one of the most exciting for me while i was playing through the world wakes quest. The quest was epic it had everything and i finally got to see the god i like to say i follow (Guthix) even though he died i thought just being able to see what the gods finally looked like was just pretty awesome.

Also another upside is that i can finally do god wars dungeon because now my levels are high enough and the gear scaling is better and more affordable for me.

Its been a great year ill see everyone in 2014!

Taking this game way to seriously to actually threaten people in real life. Not everyone hates EOC, a lot of my friends at first thought it was frustrating but then we realised all the advantages of it. Now we agree we like Eoc. The thing is the only people out of my friends that dislike EOC are the laziest people i know. Completely unwilling to try out a new thing because it doesn't work out for them.

Mod MMG i am sure has worked very hard this year and i don't think he needs another player telling him how bad EOC is. This thread is about your best and most memorable moments of 2013, you don't need to go off topic and be a pain in the ass.

These kind words are always nice to hear, and I know you also speak on behalf of the rest of the team at Jagex, MMG. Once again, thanks for making this such a player driven game. you guys know your doing something right when after 6 years im still having fun playing this game!
