Please update the Skill Capes graphics, they do not fit well with most eoc gear due to the simply fact that they have remained the same while much of the other gear in the game has evolved graphics wise. Many of the capes emotes could also sincerely use a look into making better, i feel a vote for such a change would be much appreciated by much of the Runescape community.

^ THIS! (But don't make better looking capes for prestige!)

I voted "NO" for the same reason many others did. I would, however, support raising the max level to 120 as with dungeonerring, with some new content for the higher levels, and upgraded cape. Also a possibility for those players who have reached the 200m mark maybe an upgraded cape emote for that skill or and extra embellishment on the cape. So i guess I am proposing 3 types of skill cape. The 99, 120, and 200m cape. or even the 200m cape could be more like a royal robe with the skill emblem and colors.

if this does not pass then I think lvl 120 in all skills should be considered.

people will argue that it will make combat "over powered", yes that would be the case in the old system but not the new combat system.

the power of an attack mainly comes from the weapon, and defence from the armour.

this would also stop the complaining of those who have reached 200m xp in a skill, no more work is needed and they wont lose their rank.

then there will be those who argue "whats the point of having lvl 120 in all skills? theres no content!"

its simple, this will open up more lvls to allow more content to be added slowly. there was once a time when there was little to no content at high lvls.

imagine rs classic, before even dragon weapons came out. you could still get 99 in attack even though theres no content at that point.

I hope this has perhaps opened peoples minds to an alternative that can suite all players, and I also hope jagex takes this idea into account.

IF JAGEX WANTS MORE 99+ LEVEL PLAYERS ACTUALLY IN-GAME AND PLAYING

soz about the caps folks, just wanted to make it a sort of sub-title. anyways . . .

how about altering the daily challenges so that it is a complete challenge? as some examples if you wanted bonus prayer xp from frost dragon bones you'd have to go and kill the frosties, fletching xp you'd have to cut the trees and spin the flax, smithing xp you'd have to mine the ores, making a pizza you'd have to gather the ingredients . . . you could then award bonus xp in all the skills used to make that specific item or complete that specific challenge. making them a 7 instead of 5 day challenge would allow people more time to do the extra work. there is a negative - there would be less of a mid-level item sink for the ores and bones etc. - but how many high-levels actually gather their own anymore?

for max'd players jagex could start making some or all of the challenges silly - cook 200 sardines or make 50 bronze platebodies or whatever - and award a (fixed xp since the player is 99) lamp instead of xp. that would get max'd players out and about and yet still let them skill what they choose to with the lamp.

strictly speaking this isn't about the update, but then most peoples' negative reactions haven't been precisely about the update either. this idea might also help a bit with the whole business of just "buying a 99", because people would have to skill *all* their stats to a reasonable level to take advantage of the best bonuses.

so what do you think?
