Solid video, I have a few follow up questions though.

- Since you're making stats mean something now does that mean that there will be another rework of the combat calculator? The way the calculator works now there can be glaring differences in stats between players of the same combat level.

- Will you be removing Ovls from the wild after this stat update?

- Are you aware that asphyxiate has been hitting absurd numbers, such as 1.9k per tick on f2p, (Maximum food available is 900 heal, about 1400 with food combo) and have you considered nerfing it?

- I see that you've made it so that you have to have weapons of that style to use abilities from the class, I.E can't use magic when using bows. I take this as a **ep in the direction towards making hybriding more difficult. Have you considered having armor from different class trees reduce the accuracy of attacks from different class trees?

This video gave me an idea. You have to auto-attack if you want to cast fire and water spells simultaneously, so using abilities and dual-wielding two spells are essentially canceling each other's purpose out. For example, a tactic I could use when dual-wielding two spells is to use basic abilities until I use one threshold ability, then wait for my character to auto-fire two spells for added effect. The problem with this is that, after using abilities, there is a delay before your character auto-attacks. And auto-attacking gains less adrenaline than using abilities, so there would be no point in firing my water and fire spells in PvP where adrenaline plays an important role.

What I thought about was if we had an ability that when pressed, immediately auto-attacks once (two hits if dual wield), dual-wielding spells would be very efficient. It would allow for a greater range of tactics and possibilities in combat. I could use a threshold ability, then use the auto-attack ability for firing two basic spells at once. Of course, the auto-attack ability has to have a cooldown time (it is an ability after all). It would be even better if you gained adrenaline when using the auto-attack ability (to attack only once, and has cooldown).

This would allow for even more choice in ability rotation, along with the new basic abilities, as mentioned in March's BTS.

With this auto-attack ability comes even more possibilities in combat--I could use Slaughter on an enemy, then use the auto-attack for one hit with a chaotic weapon and another hit from a crossbow with an enchanted bolt. This utilises basic spells and weapons which effects only trigger when auto-attacking to their fullest. Godswords and Enchanted excaliburs are another group of weapons that would benefit from this.

Hmm, I thought this wasn't suggestion-worthy until I wrote this, so I guess I'll post this in suggestions now, just in case. :)

So yeah, I'm glad to hear about all these new updates and such. But sadly I won't ever be there to enjoy that. I've just been robbed for all worth when a person was claiming to perfom "Quick-trades" thus another partner of his cast a tele-other spell that drove me off to wilderness. I've lost 300 millions that I've put very hard work into obtaining, all of that lost within one minute, that's an very pleasent feeling. So it aquired to me, Why the **** do you create flaws in the game that allows low-life people whom would seek to rob people for hard work? Why do you allow teleports that do such thing? Stupid jagex, I certainly won't ever use my money on your site ever again, farewell.

Runescape will most likely be dead soon.

Blaming Jagex for your mistake of spam-clicking, "Accept trade?" Yeah, okay. #logic
I'm sorry for your loss, but that's why you don't obey random players (without thinking about the situation first), and you should pay more attention in-game. Consider this as a lesson learned. We've all been there at least once or twice. No reason to quit over it and fuss.

I blame myself for the human errors I made then, but I can't think of how stupid you can be for allowing techniques or flaws to get scammed, it should not even be in the game.

EoC is not a failure. I like it perfectly fine, as do many others. Get over it and either leave the game completely, or adapt. Stop the whining because all it does is make your side of the argument look bad. The EoC is not going away. You should have been part of the BETA before it was released and put your input about it in then. It was open to all members. So, enough with the annoying complaining on every post. It's gotten old. It was old back in November.

What I personally fail to understand is why Jagex continues to prolong the pain instead of simply admitting that EOC has failed - completely. No rework, no weekly or monthly tweak will actually fix it. Reason being is because from the conception of EOC project, it has become rather plainly obvious to all of us players, that EOC is deeply flawed and not a single person in Jagex design team gave any consideration to the full impact of this update. When I mention the ''full impact'' I mean everything from ashes and bronze dagger all the way up to high lvl items and armour, including all the NPCs, skills and everything that is RS from the initial launch.

What is painfully obvious is that this was a deeply flawed business decision which did not pay off. So why is there no HONEST and SENSIBLE debate about this issue? Why has there been no HONEST and OPEN poll about EOC? We had thousands quit, we had hundreds of thousands vote for ''nostalgia'' when in reality it had NOTHING TO DO WITH NOSTALGIA AT ALL. People missed the simplicity and simple straightforward fun gaming that EOC took away!!!

I simply fail to understand the mentality of it all. No matter how much you guys at Jagex keep twisting it, no matter how many posts you delete or lock, the EOC issue will not go away and will remain a controversial one. You stated clearly that EOC is there to stay. But what happens when enough people simply migrate to the 2007 servers and when EOC servers become financially unsustainable?

When will someone actually address this issue instead of brushing it under the carpet?

This should have been done in the beta...
I mean, that's what a beta is for, right?
The players aren't a debug/balance team.

Unfortunately the beta was far from an ideal test scenario. I mean, how much real testing do you think could get done when most of the beta 'testers' were either PKing or bossing in full Torva?

^ I agree with 100% of that.

Awesome updates guys, keep it up! :D

Also, what's taking so long with off-hand dungeon weapons? :( I would love to dual wield in dungeoneering. Dual wielder for life! I would like an off-hand primal longsword :3.
Really? you would seriously sacrifice a bind slot for a weapon that is just as good as 2h (actually worse because dual wield doesn't have AoE abilities) but takes away more binds?

Yep. -w- I have 3 empty slots, plus I can just get rid of my Primal kiteshield and switch with the off-hand weapon.

Not sure why AoE abilities matter, Dual wielding now is just as useful as the 2h weapons, regardless if it doesn't have AoE abilities.
