I really dont like the fact that you can no longer use mage abilities without a magic weapon. Its not the magic weapon that gives you magic forces. You are still allowed to use melee abilities without a weapon.
Then again, this new hybriding is somehow unfair for F2P rangers. There are no one-handed ranged weapon for players of the free version, but you can wield a sword and a magic book in order to hybrid melee/magic. So now rangers cant even use magic without switching weapons wich can be very dangerous in PvP.
But for members i think it is a really good update. Hope the skill-update is coming soon

People are still crying over EoC when they have Oldschool servers? Get the hell off EoC then, and go play 07. I'm tired of wrecking you in PvP anyway. You currently play EoC because you don't want to start over? L2 play the damn game and put up with all content that jagex is releasing. Why play and pay for a game you constantly whine about? EoC has been out for a good time now, you guys are just looking for something to cry about. Go play Club Penguin, a game you might actually be good at, or drink bleech. As for this video and what's to come. The armor differences I don't know if I will like. You are now adding a "Plate to Chain" aspect that I don't think will work. I'm guessing only melee armor will be rated this way. The toggle ability for adrenaline seems like a better idea just because there are many complaints with having to build up your full adrenaline just to train the Pre-EoC way. Besides that, currently adrenaline only lasts a certain amount of time before you need to build it again. It's a pain. I don't use it so I personally don't care. The main change that I will love with this update is the fact that levels will start to take effect of damage again. Levels currently are useless and only serve the purpose of wielding gear and unlocking abilities. Stats were always important in the past, make them useful again. Overall, can't wait to see what you guys at jagex come up with. Goodluck!
