That'd mean they'd have to play favorites with skillcapes.
For instance, should a QPC be weaker than an Ardougne cloak?
No, comparing the two, the QPC is harder to get.
Also, most of those armors have a damage bonus

theres no real point in toggling the momentum if the toggle users dont have the SAME level of play as the eoc users its a good way to try and make the push for eoc to be used more by making people play around it and get them used to the interface but hey you messed up the intro to eoc you started by expecting us to remember 40 some odd commands and you should have had a few per slot to start and built up
but since you made it so involved it was offputting to many of us and now we get punished if we cant grasp it no matter how we do try with the momentum and now a toggle for momentum jagex we know you put the penalizing hit differences for using momentum to encourage people to use eoc but has it ever occured to you that some of us may have health issues that wont let us use the constant mass clicking to get spec bars up and interfaces memorized and you are by not making the toggle equal to the eoc bar users punishing us for illnsses the game has for years made it possible to enjoy the game untill now? make the toggle equal or whats the point

Oh, I thought you were bringing in four abilities for magic and four abilities for range...
Melee has 24 starting abilities because of strength being a separate skill (personally I'd like to see strength and attack merged into one skill) and having another set of abilities.
Shouldn't magic and range, then, have 24 each as well?
I do appreciate that you are trying to balance the three types, though.

In addition, can we see enemies get their aggressiveness back?
It's kinda dull walking through an area filled with dangerous looking enemies and they don't even bother trying to stop me from waltzing on through.
If it's because they pile, perhaps you could make some enemies detect if there's already an enemy fighting the player?

The funniest part of this - Is that this is the ONLY MMORPG which has gone backwards rather than forward.


The only way "Foward" this game has gone, is to bandwagon and put in silly action bars, and copy every bloody MMO out there. I like how the mods during the interview used quite alot of terms which are also in other MMO's - Rotations.

You also force the player to use specific styles of killing monsters if they want more efficiency, and speed.. Here are a few examples:

Dragons - Bow
Abberent Spectres - Thrown
Metal Dragons - Water Spells

What is the point of having "oh thrown items are best for this" - is it to encourage to use completely redundant items like knives and javelins?

Specific Spell Types - like the above, water spells... Why not just have it as "Magic" ?

Why should I have my account for almost 10 years (playing on and off) to be told that "Right, if you don't use our little action bar features we stolen from other MMO's; you're simply just going to be less efficient" - On top of that, it's a laggy piece of trash.

As it stands, there are 121,000 or so people online at the time of this post, there are also about 58000 or so playing the Old School.

What does that tell you? It tells me that one third of the player base hates the "New RuneScape"

I have also played MMO's like WoW, Rift, Aion, SWTOR.. They all use the same system. I most recently quit WoW and SWTOR getting bored of them, I come back to RuneScape (again)

Momentum - As the most useless ability which has ever been driven into any game.

i agree with Cazzou on the method of killing part im sorry my accounts is only seven years old but ive put in a good amount of gameplay i probably put in six hours daily for many of those years and we spend years learning how to gear and how to kill and then they decide to try and push the pernix and such off on us that costs more than alot of people bank make the weapons we have irrelevant by killing the specs change the way to kill something and how to dress for it and change how to fight it kill the prayer protection we relied on and sometiems was the only thing that helped us get things done and what were supposed to say yay good job?

and to top it off were to memorize a whole slew of abilities that pale in comparison to specs remenber keybinds to the mouse for those of us that have gaming mice

jagex you dont have to become wow your not supposed to we joined started and played runescape for years knowing wow was therebecause we WANTED to play runescape not some dummied down version of wow


-please make the toggle equal to that of those who use the "abilitys" system
-please keep runescape to its individual greatness wow should want to be more like you not you them!
-please keep doing the good job you guys have done although i wont come off old school servers untill eoc is a choice not a requirement you have done some real neat things
-please stop making things untradable so its "safe" if lil jonny or jane cant handle losing a phat maybe mommy shouldnt have bought it for em ya know?
-please have fun making runescape the game your kids wanna play and you as well you know theres quite a few adults that play were not all acne encrusted 13 year olds

I'm maxed combat, the other day i attacked a guard in varrock while wearing my farming gear with magic sceptres. I couldn't hit the damn thing, cause the combat system is so focused on what lvl your items are and not what your actual lvls are.

That crap needs to go, I'd hate to be a brand new player with a bronze dagger.

Also the double agents in treasure trails are extremely overpowered, and the dwarf multicannon sucks.
