If this is TRULY our year, at least allow a toggle option for the make-x interface.

That's right, in some situations I don't want the 'convenience' of the make-x interface, but I want to be able to do 100% efficient skilling (e.g. combining Fletching bolts, with Agility laps, or methods like 1-tick Cooking). Along with me are a lot of people that used to try efficient skilling, not only to make skills interesting, but also to allow those with less time to play to still achieve high XP rates. Bringing back the 'skill' in 'skilling' to reward efficiency experts over nolifers.


This story sounds a lot like telling us what we want to hear. Actions speak louder than words, so show us what you really got. Signatures are overrated.

Really? They beleive their version of combat is best for all of Runescape, so no, they do give suggestions past what they know.

I may be a noob to some people, but i doubt that i am a noob to someone who has to hide their stats. And, I also, was trying to make the same point you were. Noob, should mean new player, but it doesn't, so, when someone calls me a noob, I usually ignore it.

Well I want to say thank you for posting a development blog, so nice to hear. I look forward to the continuously growth of runescape. I do hope that bots numbers can do down and Eoc be updated for mage and range little more.

I also think that jagex should look at clans, Citadel, wars and more interaction on clans to clan with wars.

I think jagex area is going into a new era heck maybe we might even see classes back into rs like the olden days. remember when I choose wizard i got a staff lol.

-Gamblers will have something coming to them, good and bad they will find new ways to get that sense of stakeness.

Yes I realize that noob is an insult which is why I suggested it be censored in effort to bring the community together and give encouragement to new players. Maybe even instead of staring the word out **** make it so that if someone types noob it gets filtered into: valuable new player.

Were you attempting to argue that this shouldn't be done? If so you failed to make that point apparent.

These are some nice words and all, but these 'apologies' were done numerous times during 2012 and the results were less than satisfactory. While it certainly sounds nice, it leaves me to wonder why the end result is going to be any different this time around...

Hey zaros was wondering where you are gathering your facts and logic? I'm a pure still 1 def and always will be, but your comment "pures only train one or two skills and do one quest" ? I'm sorry but im a maxed 1def 80 att pure with 172 qp (which are higher than your stats).

Just drop it the fun I get from being a pure is that everything is so much more challenging for example getting a kiln cape with 1 def and no summoning, having to train against monsters who tear through your petty def bonus and going into castle wars fighting mains. It's all part of the fun and for you to sit here slating us is "disgusting" we are players as well.

You're a single minded irrational person. Of *ourse almost all pures are for old combat, their accounts were designed for it and now they have no use. Of course they'll ask to change it back, they spent lots of time and work and money getting those accounts built. So it makes it legit.

And what makes you put everything in the same bag as only pures liked old combat? I liked old combat too and i'm not a pure. And i like EoC combat too, as some pures do (some adapted and are doing a pretty good job).
