Thank you for this. It helps a lot to restore faith in Jagex. Unfortunately though, you seem to take too long to do anything or say anything. To an extent that you're leaving it too late.
But answer this... Where does it come to the point where you ACTUALLY listen to what your players want? Hardly any one wanted EOC (no I'm not trolling, I wanted EOC) but seriously, a lot really just didn't, and still don't, want it. Yet, it was still released. Even when it was in beta and certainly wasn't ready.
Or other things like Tutorial Island... Something simple, but yet much of your community asked you to do something with it but you just removed it and said no.
Or the wild, you said in a vid that it'll never come back... and see how many years it took for you to realize the game needed it? and it was definitely left too late.
It's okay for you to take the risk. But the issue is where you leave things too late to mend.
I hope this year's good. After RuneFest, I was looking forward to 2012... But stuff at RF took too long to even come out, and the bad things like sof came out first which made the year not so good.

First of all, ive been loyal runescape member for years now.. and what mark just said everything was completely true. secrets, and communication. knowing of update to come, and even recieving these from the rs development team are totally amazing. i absolutly love where runescape is headed. at first the EOC was a bit confusing, but it wouldve been much easier if i had actually decided to ty out the beta in the first place. there are only a few area's that still need to be looked at ASAP. idk if this was meant to hapen, but for one instence (master wand) isnt what it should be. instead of keeping it a great mage weapon, its been nearly destroyed. any thought on this, or anything you can tell players like me that think there needs to be a little bit more done with the magic skill. I.E., more mage equipment, better use of skill. but once again, i love what you people have done to this game, its ever so exciting, and it dont look like im going to become bored of this game like i used to be, thx again, Otho Forge
