Lol. anyways, im really glad to see something like this. in the past, i have really felt that jagex didn't communicate with us enough. hopefully that changes.

regarding the big changes (micro transactions and the EOC)

first, micro-transactions, have an evil feel to them. but they are not bad at all, just so long as you dont sell power. if everything is cosmetic, its a 100% perfect business model that all MMO's should use.

the EOC is fantastic. i thought that a lot of people were put off of the game because the combat was relatively boring. this only made it better. now i understand that some of the players are hell bent on things never changing. i used to be. but i got over myself. change is something that is needed for the growth and survival or not only games, but things in general, including real life.

If i could make only one suggestion though, it is to be less secretive about game content updates. the more we know about whats coming, the more excited we will be for the content. an example, when summoning was released, i remember people praising it because of how awesome it was. then dungeoneering came out, and there was a LOT of rage. a lot more than normal. dungeoneering clearly had a lot more content added to the game than summoning. the best part was that it wasn't even that difficult to train, and even got more fun and engaging as you got to higher levels. but why did people dislike it so much? the only difference i can see was that you were promoting summoning, but you kept dungeoneering under wraps. people got expectations for something they had no clue about. and when the content was released, they didn't get what they dreamed about.

moral of the story, as far as game content is concerned, you need to give us the details. no more secrets.

Obviously you are stupid. By change, I obviously meant change towards the future. As in, graphical updates, voice acting, new skills, new ways of fighting, new items, new quests, etc.

No, noob originally meant what is was supposed to mean. When I use the word noob, its usually jokingly, or true.

Those pieces of equipment shouldn't be affordable to a lvl 160, they shouldn't be able to be purchased at all. High end equipment should be earned. And, guess what? Lvl 200s don't wear rune. High end equipment should be expensive stupid. But dclaws are med lvl.

Nice to see that 2013 is another year that SoF and SGS gets another bunch of stuff added and there is 0% news about the Loyal shop. *Sarcasm*

Why is there still a Loyalty Program when you add nothing at all to it?
If you make 2013 another year of no new loyal items then just remove it and make it F2P & P2p cuz it don't have any sence at all to add such content to the game when you do nothing to it in 2012 and also seems in 2013.

Also why is there no Loyalty Suggestion forums???

Loyalty is a Micro Payment cuz you pay each month an X amount of money and get points.

With all the forum hate and flaming, this was a very well-written response, and I think definitely got the point across.

I'm not going to speak for everyone, but I greatly appreciate the work that the team puts into this game, and look forward to enjoying it for years to come.

It seems like the biggest hurdle for this game is, indeed, the bots. I'm looking forward to these being systematically wiped. I know it will take time, but a RS without bots is an infinitely better RS.

In this post, you go on saying that Runescape is updated with all of the feedback of its players yet with the vast majority of players against the EoC, you decide to "update" it instead of reverting back to the original combat style.

On the subject of micro-transactions, I think we all for the most part understand that they help the company which in turn helps the game grow but not with the extensive amount of what you call "content and promotions" which ruin the game for example being able to buy spins which in turn is buying experience due to the experience lamps. Also, another example would be the Fish Mask item which is now considered a rare in game even though Jagex stated that no new rares would ever be put in game.

If you really want to make Runescape better like it was before the SoF, SGS, and EoC, than you need to listen to the players and remove the content that the vast majority of players want gone.

How are you guys going to *improve* this game if it's already dead, since you guys have been ******* runescape up ea year after ea year it respect still seemed to be the same. but when u guys launched the EOC all the respect dropped. this game has no more respect and will eventually die.
